I binged The Clone Wars before Ep7 came out. I skipped some eps and a few early arcs; there is a lot of content there. I saw most of Rebels. I might have missed some at the end. I remember Ahsoka showed up again, as well as Lando and even Obi-wan Kenobi. There were minor references to Rebels in Rogue One. Never saw the Resistance show. I'll check out some of it on Disney+ eventually, but for now the only show I want to see is Mandalorian! I'm waiting for more han 2 eps to be available before I subscribe.
I'm anxious to play some Star Wars games now. Im not sick of SW but I'm done with the films for a while.

Faicuai, in the above video, that is the Green castle. It is very green on purpose. But if you are talking about Kingdom 1, we did originally use a ground color using I think $E4 and $E6, which in emulators looked more yellow or tan, but appeared more green on some sets I noticed. Not long ago I changed these to be $14 and $16 to get a better yellow/ tan color for the Sand Kingdom. I know the original demo I posted was still using the $Ex settings.

I wouldn’t argue over liking Ep1 the most. It seems the most like the OT feel to me, something about the pacing.
bitd, the thing that took me by surprise was Anakin having no father and the midichlorian thing. Although Lucas seems to have always had that in his mind, it seemed to me to be a sharp veering off-course. But in time I didn’t care about that anymore and focus more on the entertainment value of the film.

Hey, to each their own Mike. I've read that Mr. Lucas used ideas from 7, 8 and 9 in Return of the Jedi when he decided to end it there. Luke vs Emperor, for example. I'm glad he did. I'm not sure George's ideas of microorganisms, Whills and Midichlorians was a better film idea for ep7 than JJs retread of Star wars Episode IV beats. Besides, the ideas in these films are being taken from Lucas but also new and also some extended universe ideas, it seems. Rey seems based on a different female padawan of Luke's, that Lucas had imagined, another example. At first I enjoyed but as disappointed with Ep7 ... but upon rewatching it on BD, I found it to be an enjoyable film. I will see Episode IX at full price and probably more than one time!

I always thought this was the worst 5200 game. I gained a bit more appreciation for it after a HSC and learning how to beat a few levels, but the game wasn't well made, it has poor control, obtuse objectives, and confusing and tedious gameplay.
Thanks for the review !

You don't need it, Adventure II is a one button game.

I updated Option to be pause, but it wasn’t as easy as I’d have thought. I had to review how the CONSOL register works again, plus Perry when he ported this had plugged into my old 5200 logic which used asterisk and hash keys logic. I started to comment-out supposedly unneeded code, to disastrous result! Works now, though. So all functions are capable using joystick and console buttons.
Now back to Sounds work!

Sounds like a great idea to me! Dig out that banner showing off the box art! Hook it up to a 70" flatscreen!

You don't need the keyboard to play the game. In fact, now that you mention it, I think I'll change one more thing so that OPTION will pause the game (as well as the "P" key as-is now). SELECT quits the current game, sending you first to the Game Over rankings screen, then back to the Title screen. This change will make the game even more XEGS-friendly. (the XL's of course always have their keyboards available).

I always liked HERO but never mastered , or even reached, all the levels. I played more of HERO a month ago during the 5200 HSC than ever before, and found it frustrating but learnable. I think the instant kills are mostly preventable by mastering the hover, which I think is impossible with the 5200 analog control, even in emulation. It's got to be easier to hover on demand on 2600 and A8 versions.

Good haul of pristine Sega Saturn games and boxes! The Golden Axe problem would have been so disappointing to me, to have found it but it will not boot. I would have tried to boil the disc for 5 seconds, which has worked for me in the past, or at least taken it to get resurfaced, but oh well. The boiling actually worked most often on DC games, I'm remembering. It's like gunk hardened in the tiny grooves or something.

Yep. Similarly, I usually play via Activision Anthology, where I can pause and shake the numbness out of my hand.

Enduro is probably my favorite 2600 game. I've played it many times, and it's a real challenge to get to day 10 or beyond.

I thought they did a great job on young Michelle Pfeiffer! Rrowwr

I saw the film finally, with my sons and daughter in law. Wife refused.
We all enjoyed it to a degree, but the younger 3 seemed to feel more "meh" about it. Myself, I very much enjoyed it and as your review stated, it's a nice change of pace from the Avengers films. Just as Ant-man was also refreshing and simpler and funny. Also I dont know how the portable lab bldg wasn't wrecked every time they expanded it again. I also loved the full returning cast, including Scott's daughter. 2 points from me:
1.I really hoped to have seen the MCU version of the Microverse, aka the Quantum Realm. But instead of micro worlds and civilizations, all we got were triangles and molten colors. How the heck can anybody survive there for years? They didn't answer that q.
2. Wasp action scenes were awesome.

What currency designations would they use? Can you give me change for a Bentley? 50 Pongs and 2 Wands is fine...

The only use I have for the USA Penney is dumping them into toll booth coin catchers.

Im not familiar with the C64 Sid, but Im not a fan of many modern A8 games' composed techno music either. Impressive, but the same sounds and beats and techno style, after a few listens too repetitive, too in your face, and I want to turn it off. Mind you, same issue with many modern games music! Yet, I still dont tire of the simple tunes in Popeye , Moon Patrol. I guess I prefer more incidental and beginning of level music ditties and more emphasis on game sounds than a looping track.
I dont pay too much attention to the A8 or C64 scene lately so not sure which games you might be referring to. Every now and then I poke around online to see whats new.
Remember the innovation of the early 80s arcade scene? All kinds of new and good types of games.

I believe I feel the same way! At first I was confused by 1 or 2 directions of TLJ, but I've already mentally accepted that THIS is the storyline now. The film was a great watching experience both times and I'll buy it.
If it had gone a more fan traditional path, if Rey was Luke's daughter anf Luke physically showed up and did age defying backflips and cut down Kylo Ren ... i think that kind of stuff might have made the film more dull longterm.

I am reminded how special the Capcom fighters look and play. Apha 2, Marvel Super Heroes (I played as Captain America until I beat Thanos. I love using the Infinity Gems in this unique game), and the Marvel Sh vs Capcom with the 4M cart .. WOW it is so fast and smooth!

Madden 97 has hilarious animations when you get far enough in front of the pursuing defensemen! Kick steps, and putting his hands up to his ear to prompt the crowds, I lol'd at that when Thigpen did it. Also victory dances and flips, ha ha. But yes Madden 97 was $5 boxed, so was QBC and WSB 98 which seemed a steal to me.
I'm so glad I kept my original games, as you said those are quite expensive now.

I didnt even mention the Atari Legal issues ... was that 2004? 2005? Well, they let me use the name Adventure II eventually. It was called Quest for the Golden Chalice for about a year.
Yes I did, when I updated this!

So you'll be 900 years old then? Just like Yoda!

It's The Last Jedi not The Force Awakens.I only watched the new trailer once so can't comment much.
Edit , ok watched again. It's a tease, that's for sure. Can't wait to see it and will be rematch ingredients other Star wars shows in the meantime.
