The only problem I have with Galaxian Arcade is that there were additional graphic improvements and a second title screen added. And a nicer ship and who knows what else. If I were getting that, and I _really_ want to, I would ask for this version. I especially like that the aliens have red eyes:

I'm curious about Galaxian Arcade, probably my next purchase.

...but IMHO it's not a bad idea, at least in a form of collaboration.

I suppose the project is extremely time-consuming, and the enthusiasm of the author can not be always as the first day.

Recently I purchased Space Instigators from the Store, and I think it's great!

 

I wonder if, in the style of "The Pac-man Dossier", it could be possible a deep comparison between the original arcade, the original VCS conversion and Space Instigators.

Yesterday I finally received my first package from the Atari Age Store... and for a moment it seemed Christmas to me!!!

I am really satisfied with the quality of everything: from the games ordered (Pacman 4K, Space instigators, Berzerk VE...) to the quality of manuals and packaging.

Really... WOW!!!

When I found at good price an Atari 2600 in the flea market nearby, I never imagined that it was a console still so "alive" and with a so exceptional community!

Well, with this post I just wanted to share my emotion and officially say "thank you" to Albert for his great support and his kindness.

Can't wait for DK VCS and Ultimate Pac-man!

Yes, I use a PAL power supply on an NTSC 2600 Jr.

I did not get any sound over the antenna cable, so I modded it (not sure if this was a problem in general or specific to my unit).

 

Please let me know if you hear the speech!

 

I get same results on my PAL an NTSC Jr:

When you start a new game, you hear "intr...." silence (should be "intruder alert" I guess).

 

Maybe my cartridge ist broken, as it fails on both consoles PAL and NTSC.

 

I thought about this beeing a 50/60Hz Problem but even the power supply gets 220V 50Hz in (instead 110V and 60Hz in the US) the outgoing direct current is the same, so this does not make any sense then.

It works on my Atari 2600 Jr. PAL console, I hear the voices. Only colors are wrong.
