Do a search for 360's XBCD drivers. That will solve your problem.

Anyone who bought a 360 have just a normal TV?
Looks great. I seen it hooked with a RF adapter. Image quality is just as you would expect from such a connection. Don't know about the stretched problem someone else reported. You have to setup the machine accordingly to avoid that.

I got a copy of God of War...maybe I haven't gotten deeply enough into it, but...what's the big deal? ... Am I missing something? My friend who I thought would dig it (he was really into that Shinobi revival type game) echoed my sentiments
I could say the same for a couple of Nintendo titles. I guess God of War is just a great and very well polished game. It's not everyday you see a new franchise being born either.

You know any anaglyphic glasses will work the same. Some of these can be bought for cheap. Ask neighbors or friends with kids if they went to see any recent 3D movie and if they still have the discardable carton glasses from the theater... Or ask in you local teather if they have some lying around. They are not so hard to make yourself either.

Haven't bought from them but they if they say their kits are HID compliant then you should not have any problems (or worry about drivers). As far as configuring mame controls head over to easyemy tutorials for help:

Opera and Nintendo in bed together? Sounds odd, but considering Opera's presence in the cell phone browser sector then it isn't that far off. They already the shrinking technology and have mouse gestures which I guess could be adapted to the touchscreen. Then again if the DS a gaming only device it would be interesting to know Nintendo's sudden change of heart by giving it browsing capability.

Looks interesting. I'll try it out. Have you played Clash'n'Slash? It's a 2D asteroid-type game with lots of eye candy explosions.

If it comes to the worst maybe it is better to buy a used SNES instead of throwing money at repair solutions.

I remember someone asking this same question a few years ago. Someone posted some photos and a link to an exaggerated video switcher unit (expensive and obviously made for professional use). Search and you shall find.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.
It was only available at BLockbuster or online through LucasArts.
There were many but a couple of N64 games went the same route. That last year or so for the N64 must have been very bad for 3rd party devs.

You can try using a can of compressed air on the consoles cart connector. You can clean it with a game cleaning kit (or making something on your own that can fit on the SNES cart opening. You could try get a replacement SNES connector from MCM Electonics (if they have them).

So tonight I got home with it and set about the task of carefully peeling the stickers off...But there was an added surprise. The game had actually been re-priced. I peeled off the outer price sticker and discovered (thanks, yet again), that it had originally been priced at $14.99 but, presumably after the game went out of print, they jacked the price up by $3. Nice.
They do that all the time. Although unlikely, could it have been a labeling error?

The closest thing I had was a "game and watch " type of handheld called "Tank". I remember it was from Mattel, had a rectangular shape and a gray plastic case. Gameplay was a simplified version of combat.

That's five bucks less than EB's. This is not for me but I'll be sure to tell my friend where is cheaper.

Thanks for the information. I'll be sure to pass it along.

Hey Dones, thanks for letting us know that the Gamecube is a "kiddy console". I think I'll pick-up Resident Evil 4 and Prince Of Persia 3 on the 'Cube for my 10 year old.
You are welcome! As a responsible parent you are in charge of what your children play. You should play those as well I hear they are pretty good.
I'll repeat my point again, controllers feel different to different people. The PS2 controller feels very comfortable in my hands and plenty ergonomic. Some people love wavebirds, some are nuetral, some hate them.I saw this recently mentioned at a gaming blog and thought might as well put it here:

It's an interesting article describing most major game controllers from atari all the way to revolution. Worth checking out.

Cool. What store is that? I just found an RF adapter at ebgames.com. It's Pelican brand. EB has it at $14.95

I have been able to play HOTD2, Confidential Mission and Virtua Cop 2 with 3rd party light guns. I got them from liksang. They performed fine.
IMO the Sega zillion phaser looks, feels and performs better than the nes zapper.

A friend of mine just bought a brand new 360. Problem is his tv is old. Old as in "antenna-only" old. Still it's 19 inches and he seems a bit too attached to it. He was asking me what I am about to ask: Are there any RF cables for the 360?
Talking about this made me think about the signs change this next gen brings. It's obvious it is not a good idea for Microsoft to support this method of connection, considering all the advanced visuals and hi tech image the 360 conveys. I also wonder how many television purchases may have been fueled by 360 purchases.
Anyway for now we figured the best way to hook the 360 will have to be through a VCR. I am sure there must be 3rd party RF cable alternatives. If I find anything I'll post it here.

You know I didn't thought of it as a bad game either (for n64 standards of course). A good rental game.

I get the feeling some people here want to be or are already pissed at this website? If I am getting this wrong please someone tell me, but I don't see any harm done by this website.

That's good to know. Thanks.

You know what dones never mind, it's always some one else who started the fights never you which anyone can see isn't true. So whatever it isn't worth the effort.
I am glad you decided to drop this. Still I have to re-iterate that it was you who started the flaming. Not that I matters anyway but let's hope someone else picks this thread away from your hostility.

Gamecube Component Video Cable

Before that, their online store has had them on permanent "back order" for years. Nintendo didn't exactly support it when the cube was still manufactured with the port. It is very unlikely they will bother now.
I guess it depends on the game and personal experience. For example, F-Zero looks better on hidef. However, Zelda Wind Waker actually looks worse. The crude simplicity of the character models stand out with sore jaggies that were not apparent on a normal tv. The blur filter helped a lot to hide this flaw, but not so much on hidef.
What I have noticed is that HDTV support in games has steadily dropped. It is not as supported as it was before the model revision. Most games that provide hidef are from the early years. Another interesting bit is that there is not one 1st party Nintendo game that offers widerscreen mode. You get 480p but no aspect correction.
Very poor indeed. Supposedly if you call their customer service you can arrange to replace your hidef challenged cube with the older model that has it. Don't know if its true though.
