    When I did it, you could have it either in one position or the other. Like Boing! (the Amiga port), it wouldn't work with it off, but when I loaded it with it on, it worked. I used these instructions. For some reason, it flashes green and black (when on I guess?). I don't know. Nothing bad happened when I had it out of the case. Also, So that goes entirely against what you said.

    I was wondering. About a year ago I did the SuperCharger hack, and it worked. So I open it up this year to see if I can see what position is on and which is off. I couldn't figure it out, so I put it back together, and now when the switch is in one position, the normal screen turns on, while when the switch is the other way, it flashes green and black. I'm not sure, did I break it somehow? All I did was check all the solder connections, and they are fine. Anyone want to help?

    Since I've had mine. All I've had were problems. First 3 days - Xbox Live-less Next 2 days - Halo 2 less So now, I've straightened out all the probelms, and it works great. I am pleased with Kameo: Elements of Power. Need for Speed: Most wanted is arriving next week. I like the custom soundtrack feature in every Xbox 360 game. I feel like I can see everything! The detail is supurb to XBox. Mine has not crashed ever! Don't worry about overheating. I love the controllers! I'll post more soon.

    I just installed the new switch. No LED, just flashes a white screen sometimes. Should I just trash it?

    The problem is that there is no video, yet there is an LED... I have no idea what happned. I went out today and got a new switch, I'll see if that helps.

    Found a C64, controllers, AC adapter, manuals, and RCA connectors for $7. Passed up Intelevison II (boxed) for $15.

    So can I have a switch? EDIT: Ran the system for a while, and the RAM chips were really, really hot! This means that they are shorted, right? But that doesn't explain the LED problem...
