Hey y'all. While everyone here is discussing the firestorm that is PC5 - let's not take anything away from this weekends AGE show! From everything they have listed on their site (http://www.austingamingexpo.com/) this looks like it will be a fantastic show. Great sponsors, guests, tournaments and all for a GREAT price. Very professional indeed! (are the other "shows" taking notes??) My hats off to the entire team at AGE for bringing this all together. The "classic gaming" circut could use another classy show! The more the merrier! Can't wait to hear the response, read to (tall) tales, see the pics! Kick ass guys!

I agree! Time to just "push away" folks! -- posted this on the PhillyClassic Group at Yahoo too -- It was mostly a reply to Ed Siegler... While the VF is a pretty nice place to hold a show - unless you have access to a car there is nothing to do in KofP after 9:00pm. The lodging options are weak as well as the eateries. As for cost issues, I would swear that the "hacker" mentioned cutting the admission cost in 1/2. So, even if the show were to move into the center of Philly it won't cost you any more to attend - prolly even less (I'm guessing by 1/2 to be exact). As for your concerns regarding the higher costs to run the show in "downtown Philly" - I imagine that PC dev. team is very thankful for your concern. My hats off to the geniuses behind the scenes for building excitement about the show at this stage. I would recommend sitting back, putting you feet up, sharpen you Warlord skills and enjoy the ride. And if that can't happen - then email David and Co. and see how you can be involved in the planning committee (pony up some $$$ to have a say? If you attended PC4 last year, I'm betting you'll attend PC? this year too!
