Were tablets a fad? I don't really hear to much about them these days, and haven't really used one myself in about 3-4 years.

  anecdotally we have 1 ipad, 1 galaxy tab, and 2 kindle fires in the house and we use the crap out of them. my ipad is also a business one that i use for wireless rf surveys at work.
