    Hi all!

     

    It's been a while since I've posted here, but I am glad to be back :)

    Hi all, long time since i last posted..but..

    I recently traded for a C64 with a couple games and everything, and it should be here by wednesday(thanks again steve) :) But now that i have myself a C64 coming, i need to stock up on some games!! im not familar at all with the c64 or anything related to it, im very new to it. So im not looking for any rare or proto games or anything, just some fun games to play! I'd rather buy in bulk so if your looking to sell off your c64...maybe we could work out a deal or if you just have a few games, thats fine too. I may also be interested in a trade.     Hi all,

    Im looking to get a N64 system, or as a bundle with some games. Im also looking for a NES system with games. If someone has both and is looking to sell/trade both, that'd be great! But if you have one or the other, thats great too! :)

     

    I have a Indigo GBA im looking to trade, along with games. I also have 2600 games, XBOX, and Gamecube games. So let me know!

    No, and I probably won't be able to until I get my license  :( .

     

    What about you? did you go to the one I've mentioned?

     

    I havent gotton a chance to go there but yesterday we went to the Cedar Cliff one, to see how much N64 and NES systems were. I was dissapointed...

    A NES system was $59.99 and a N64 was 39.99! and the NES games were even more ridiculous! all the games were either $14.99 or higher! Like the Super Mario Bros 3 was $19.99!! I seriously dont know why they do that! no body ever buys from them, but they have some awesome stuff!

    Thanks everyone for the input.

     

    When i had my N64, i had golden eye, and i loved it :) I also had the expansion pack, but i traded everything, including a bunch of games, into gamestop so i could get some moeny to buy my GBA. And i regret it! :x

     

    But ill see how much the systems and games are at the store near me, and if i can, ill buy both :) But rite now im leaning toward the N64.'

     

    Spongebue, did you get a chance to visit that store i mentioned? find anything good?

    Right now, my atari 2600 is really the only classic system i have. And i had a N64 when i was younger, (meaning 5 years ago) lol, and i miss playing that. And then i had a NES at my friends house that i would play everyday, and i miss that too! And ive been looking to add to my collection, so im just wondering, which is a better buy? A N64 system or NES? what are the pros and cons of the systems in your opinions, which has the best games etc. I know most of you will say, why not buy both? I probably will buy the other one i dont buy now in the future, but i know my mom wouldnt let me just go out and spend all my bday money on these 2 systems :)

     

    Also, what are the average prices for a N64 and NES system? Theres this store close to me that has tons of retro gameing stuff, including tables full of NES games. So im just wondering whats a good price for the systems, so i dont end up paying too much.

    The Spider-Man (Movie) games... worth it?

    Well, im a huge spider-man fan, and i cant wait to see it later today! I have the first spiderman game for PC and GC, and i love em! Its so fun just webslinging around the city and doing different jumps...so i'd reccomend it!

     

    I did get a chance to play the 2nd one at Sams Club. But it was a SpiderMan2 "demo" so i bet most of the features were locked. But anyways, i was in this training or w/e mode. Where it taught u to websling and crawl on walls and fight. And everything was down with a mouse click...so that was wierd...but i usually use a joystick with my games, so yeah... But yea it was cool, but again it was the demo, so i bet the full version is off the hook.--excuse me for my slang :)

    If i make a MAME arcade...i could make it into like a spiderman cabinet if i wanted too, then have a bunch of different games, instead of just the 1 right, but then also have the spiderman game on it? theres like ROMS of it right?

     

    That way id get the spider-man arcade feel, and a bunch of different games!! lol...

     

    Any tips on doing this, besides just the basic MAMEing stuff....

     

    (if that makes any sense, lol)

    Man, i need to get busy! First i gotta decide if i wanna make a MAME or just get 1 arcade machine....tuff desicions! :)

     

    Making a MAME arcade looks awesome! and then you can play tons of games instead of just 1, and i bet my dad would have fun helping me out....hmmmm...

    So, are you gonna use it for the original game or MAME it?  Neo Geo?

     

    Well...i bought that big book on making your own arcade, and it seems so fun to do it. But i dont think id be able to, so if i get an arcade, id use it for the orignal game. Im a HUUUGGGEEE spider-man freak ( just 1 more day til the 2nd movie comes out) so im really interested in getting the spiderman arcade, but i doubt anyone has it, that lives in Minnesota at least.

     

    I havent seen any arcades in my classified ads. Theres just pool tables :( But ill keep looking!

    Thanks for the Fridley location site. Ive seen there ad in the paper, and i called them a while back, and they do have some arcades for kinda good prices, but they always sell out right away!!

     

    I mite have to check them out in person soon :)

    I've been lookig at ebay for arcades, for a while now. But they always seem to go higher then i want, or there just junk. And right now i dont think there any arcade machines up that are located in MN....but ill keep checking daily.

    Im looking to buy an arcade. I live in Minnesota, in the twin cities area. Does anyone have a arcade they're looking to sell? Or does anyone know of places in Minnesota that sells arcades for good prices??

    P.S-im not really looking for a specfic arcade. But i do like shooting and raceing games. But im open to pretty much anything that works!
