  1. General information: LX.NET reported me a problem using the burner with Windows 8.1. The burner is detected by te system, but after a few seconds it fails with a "device not working properly" message. Dear LX.NET, today I have been able to replicate your issue with a Windows 8-64 bits system.... I think it is due to the system folder that Windows 8 creates automatically in every drive, but will investigate in further and keep you all informed.
  2. Dear Kamat, please could you tell me your email through private message to make sure that i have included you in the reservation list? You should have received a confirmation mail.
  3. Thank you very much busterm... I will study your issue with windows 7. bdoi, the second batch is just waiting for the arrival of the burner's usb socket
  4. Dear mates, The Atari Lynx cards are ready to ship... but the burners still require the usb connector... probably I will be shipping them next week.
  5. Thanks karri... that is a big compliment coming from you
  6. Yes doubling the capacity would be very easy, but not removing the current rom (because there are no more lines available), but adding a second rom. The burner is already compatible with Vectrex, Watara/Supervision, Gamate and Atari Lynx. Just now, the Atari 7800 (non-bankswitching) and Videopac (Odyssey 2) cartridges are in beta testing...and the Neo Geo Pocket and Gameboy are in prototype. I don't own a Neo Geo, so cannot study it... but if someone want to suggest other systems I will pleased to consider it.
  7. ¡Guauuuuu! Thank you very much for your video-review... The instructions can be found in my website: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/mvbd-mvmc-3/howto-burn-rom If you select 512kb mode, the slots are combined in pairs: 0 and 8, 1 and 9, 2 and A, and so on. If you write a 512kb in slot 0 it will also extend into slot 8... so be carefull; if you had a 256kb game in slot 8 it would be overwritten by the 512kb game. thank you very much Gadgetuk
  8. Thank you very much GadgetUK, This is the pseudocode I use to rewrite the 512kb. Ignore 64 bytes header do i=0;i<256 read 1024 bytes from source file and write them in the output file read 1024 bytes just to forward the index inside the file enddo rewind the source file to start do i=0;i<256 read 1024 bytes just to forward the index inside the file read 1024 bytes from source file and write them in the output file enddo And this is the soruce code in php: //Desechar la cabecera de 64 bytes fread ( $rh , 64 ); //Escribir los primeros semi-bloques for($i=0;$i<256;$i++){ $cadena=fread($rh,1024); echo $cadena; fread($rh,1024); } //Escribir los segundos semi-bloques rewind($rh); //Desechar la cabecera de 64 bytes fread ( $rh , 64 ); for($i=0;$i<256;$i++){ fread($rh,1024); $cadena=fread($rh,1024); echo $cadena; }
  9. Excuse me walter... i was a bit busy... here you have a few photos
  10. Yes walter, I will show pictures tomorrow... I was amazed that nobody asked for pictures
  11. Sorry Guitari... there were only a few available... if you are interested in reserve one in the second batch, there is still one available... please inquiry through my contact form: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/contact
  12. The first batch has been sent. I will make a second batch... there are still a couple of cards of this second batch that are not reserved; if someone is interested, please inquiry through my contact form: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/contact It will take at least two weeks to receive all the components. Thanks for supporting my developments.
  13. Yes walter, my (rudimentary) ERP system should confirm any enquiry received through my contact form. You should receive an email confirmation. Should anyone be interested in this 16in1 Lynx rewritable card, please tell me through my contact form: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/contact (it´s difficult to keep track of this information in the forum). Till now, 6 users had told me they would like one, so probably I will make a second 10-pcb batch. Thanks to everybody supporting my developments.
  14. Good news, the first 10-pcb batch arrived a couple of days ago. I have been testing them and everything works properly. I have tested all the games in the list at the end of this message; please, should you miss some game in the below list, just let me know and I will try to test it. The first kits will be ready to be sent next week. I will now write a message to the 9 first people that expressed interest in owning one of these cartridges... If you don´t receive this message and want one cartrdige, write me through my contact form (http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/contact) and I will study whether there is enough interest to make a second batch. 15. Thank you everybody for your support. The pcbs are now in its way from China to Spain. They should arrive in 10 days. I will write again when they are ready.
  16. Registered mail worldwide is 6.55€ Please, consider that the first batch is only 10 pcbs... I have already 6 of them reserved and will offer the remaining ones to the people in this thread. Thank you very much.
  17. Dear StijnDW, I am sorry but this project is not open-source.
  18. Yes the price for the first batch will be 26€ for the burner (compatible with Vectrex, Supervision/Watara, BitCorp Gamate and Atari Lynx... more in future), 24€ for each 16in1 Atari Lynx cartridge, and 6.55 for the worldwide registered mail (up to 100g). You can find more information about other consoles cartridges in my web: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/mvbd-mvmc-3/faq Next batchs could be a bit more expensive (1 o 2 € more) because of euro depreciation.
  19. StijfDW, I will keep the rotary switch because I find it easier to use than dip switches, but probably I will use a shorter shaft. The first 10 PCBs have already been ordered and I should get them before the end of this month... if there is insterest, I will order more PCBs, but probably they won´t be ready before summer (june-july).
  20. Size is just the same as a regular Lynx cart. The Lynx connector is in one side, and the burner connector is in the adjacent side. The rewritable cart uses a rotary switch, just like my other developments, and it can be attached into Lynx I and Lynx II.
  21. I am pleased to announce that my USB drag and drop Burner (http://atariage.com/forums/topic/223165-watara-vectrex-flash-cart-rewritable-multigame-cartridge-available/?hl=%2Bmvrmc&do=findComment&comment=2948633) will be soon compatible with Atari Lynx. Every cart will be able to hold 16 up to 256kb games, or 8 up to 512 games. This is the last prototype Thanks to everyone supporting my developments.
  22. Clean the potentiometer with a contacts cleaner spray
