  1. Thank you very much rolo... I will try to fix mine's.
  2. It would be very nice of you. Thanks.
  3. Thanks Rolo... I understand now. My two joysticks had the action button broken and the springs have dissapeared.
  4. Thank you very much Rolo... i dont´t understand where the spring is... please, could you further explain it?
  5. Probably I will make a Rewritable cartridge compatible with my burner.
  6. I have just got this Videopac G7200 and wanted to share some photos. I have a pair of questions... - There should be a spring below the joystick action button? Neither of the two action buttons work. - On switching on, very odd graphics appear on the screen, something like a chessboard (see last images) until I push the red button to select a game. Is this normal? Thanks
  7. I have known that "Journey to the West" had already been dumped by other researcher.
  8. Dear all, I have been coworking with several enthusiasts/collectors/engineers around the globe to research the Gamate console internals. We have been able to dump all the games we own https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HJArjfYvjeN8lr6E8TnMN1viEHCVTJ6IXUD2m22sxAI/edit?usp=sharing And now we are trying to find the remaining games to preserve them. Please, if you own a game that is not in the above list and would like to preserve it, contact me (vectrex@hackermesh.org). I will be pleased to dump it for you (the dumping process does not damage the card... it is dumped through the connector). As a sign of thanks, I will be pleased to send your game backed-up in a flash card like the one used in this video. Thanks for your attention, and if you don't own Gamate games, please help us to spread this message through forums/Facebook/Twitter/... (gamate is an obscure system and we have found very difficult to reach its collectors).
  9. This is how it shows in my vectrex I like the title of the game
  10. You can also get a rewritable multigame cartridge to test the original vectrex games, as they are free to distribute (not commercially). Oh, i have just remembered that I offer those rewritable multigame cartridges But mines are not the only option: look at madtronix webpage, vecmulti, and this thread: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/127752-flashcart-and-multicart-list-all-systems/
  11. Some Supervision games are 32k. Which is the 128kB one, Catpix?
  12. You could try to build your own using resin casting. I've done it with vectrex: http://vectorgaming.proboards.com/post/9945/thread
  13. Just a quick update: I have contacted several gamate owners around the globe. I have developed a card adapter to sniff the communication between the console and the cards. I have decapped the cube-up ics and am waiting for the arrival of a more powerful microscope to explore the die. Thanks to other owner´s photos we have discovered that there are several variants of the cards pcbs. A hi-res of the 4-in-1 card could help to understand how this console works.
  14. I have recently bought a Gamate with a few games. I would like to try to dump its games and make a flash cartridge compatible with this burner/dumper (http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/) I have read that Gamate games are difficult to dump because the cartridges use a protection chip. I would like to know whether someone would like to contribute to this effort. Any information is welcome: previous attempt experiences, contacts to person who have already tried it, owners willing to test, ...
  15. I have read in this forum (http://forum.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?132348-Journey-to-the-West-Strategy-RPG-for-Watara-SuperVision&p=1566575&viewfull=1#post1566575) the following I have asked mauro (http://consolasportatiles.info/2011/10/magnum-supervision-1995/) for photos of the magnum internals to study the cart slot pcb tracks... but he has not answered yet. Yes that is also my hope. What size is that rom stupus? If you are interested I can arrange an adapter to dump it through my MVBD and send both of them (of course free) to you.
  16. I didn´t meant that the website is not reliable (excuse my english)... I meant that i needed large stock providers becouse I usually buy small quantities but during long periods of time (I buy one part today and I could need it again 3 years later). I am almost sure that we could dump the game if I can study the pcb, but even if we get the rom it would probably not work in regular watara supervision consoles... according to this blog (http://consolasportatiles.info/2011/10/magnum-supervision-1995/) it only works with the magnum version becouse it has a better processor.
  17. I have realized that it would cost just the same (15€) because the shaft-less version wouldn´t include the knob. Thank you very much for the tayda link... unfortunately it´s important for me to get a reliable source of stock so I always try to buy digikey/mouser...
  18. Yes I could use a switch without shaft similar to this (http://cfnewsads.thomasnet.com/images/large/020/20286.jpg) instead of the ordinary one (http://i00.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/1365713624/-bella-Japan-0-7-ECE-ECE-eight-font-b-rotary-b-font-font-b-DIP.jpg)... but it would be probably a couple of euros more expensive.
  19. Dear htheb, yes they are available, but I want be able to send them until ending my summer holidays (end of august). Dear stupus, I didn't even know that there were a 128kb game for the watara. If you can take a high resolution photo of the pcb (front and back) I could probably arrange a special dumper for it (although probably it could be dumped with the already available MVBD using an adapter). In fact there is an easy way to store bigger than 64kb roms in my cartridges. All the games in this list (http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/mvbd-mvmc-3/compatible-roms-list/watara-en), including Piramid and Dancing blocks has been tested sucessfully with my cartridge... please, take into account that some of the roms available are only 32kb so you will have to concatenate the file with itself to generate a 64 kB file (i.e. using HxD). In fact, the dumper can read files bigger than 64kb, although this feature is not enabled by default, but could be enabled withouth any hardware modification. I would be very pleased to help dumping the game Journey to the west.
  20. Thank you very much 5-11under. I am just a newcomer in the Vectrex scene (only a year old), trying to offer something new with my inventions. The burner you are offering, is compatible with mac OS and Linux? Does it need additional software? I would advice you to make the copper pcb contacts a bit wider.
  21. Dear ieposta, I will be glad to refund you half the shipping cost (I always combine the shipping cost, but maybe I forgot in your case). Please PM me and I will solve it ASAP.
  22. Dear vectrexroli, Did you notice that the label pdf is a form, so you can populate it directly in Adobe Reader?
  23. My ebay items are not available in some countries... please contact through my web site: http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/index.php/en/mvbd-mvmc-3/faq
