In cooperation with Rafael Cardoso and the Brazilian Odyssey2 Fan Page www.experienciaodyssey.com.br/ , I recently present Rafael's very latest games on my small YouTube channel, which are not yet released or will only be released soon.
I would like to thank Rafael for his trust and support in my small project.
I would be very happy about your visit and hope you like the little preview of future games.
In order not to miss any unreleased super hit by Rafael, I would also be very happy about a subscription that would motivate me to continue.
Thank you in advance for your support. 😂https://www.youtube.com/@tombeckcollect...

Hi !
I recently uploaded a video (also in english) on my small YouTube channel that deals with the Divoom Pixxo LED-Panel (Digital Picture/Photo Frame).
Since I'm a big Odyssey2/Videopac fan, I created some animations for it. You are welcome to have a look at them there and if you own one of these picture frames,
you can save my animations from the Appstore to this frame at any time, as I have made them available for download there.
Have fun with it.

So do you know anything about how the game was supposed to be played or did you just make up some rules that seem to fit what the game is doing? I've always been curious about this prototype but info is very limited. I don't think I've even seen screenshots.
Screenshots were here:

I love this system. It's not something I had as a kid I got my first system last year. I love getting the boxed games they're just so fun-looking and well done.
I was fortunate enough to own this video game as a child. It totally fascinated me at the time. And that's why I still love it to this day.

I’ll check it out and sub you. Your not alone.?
Thank you very much for your answer and the subscription. I thought I was all alone with my hobby. I am glad that there are more people who love this system.

Hello Odyssey2 fans, ?
I have been a huge fan of the Videopac/Odyssey2 video game since I was a kid. I have never sold anything and more and more have been added. Over time, a nice collection has come together with games from Europe (Videopac from Philips, Radiola and Siera), Parker and Imagic, Jopacs from France, Odyssey2 from USA and Canada and Philips Odyssey from Brazil. Also a large homebrew/new releases collection. In addition, I love Amiibos and have a complete collection here as well.
I always found it a pity, that no one but me sees my collection and that no one is interested except me. It seems like the whole world is collecting only the generation from the Nintendo Nes.
Therefore, after much deliberation, I decided to do it and dared to show my collection on Youtube. Since it's also something new for me, I ask for your indulgence if everything isn't perfect. Since I'm from Germany, I tried to write my video descriptions in English as well. Again, I apologize for mistakes. So far I have released 3 films (more are in the pipeline) and I would be very happy if you like them. I cordially invite you to visit my channel. Comments, a like and a subscription are very welcome and would motivate me to continue.
Thank you in advance for your interest. ?

I also had this question some time ago (2016) and I post the question at videopac.nl.
Maybe it`s interesting to read for you.

All games I show you work on G7000/Odyssey2 and G7400/Jopac.
Laser Blitz: The "plus graphics for G7400/Jopac" are only the blue Mountains with the stars on the top, the words "Laser Blitz / lives / score and power" and the red color at the bottom. I post a pic how the game look , when you put the same cartridge into a G7000/O2.
Down: The "plus graphics" are here only the blue static background. When you put the same cartridge into a G7000/Odyssey2 is the background black. The game is the same and it`s fun and fast. Unfortunatly, I have no pic without the blue background. So you must only replace the blue background with black in your mind. ?
Cavity: This game has only a "plus" cover screen at G7400/Jopac. The game look the same at G7400 and G7000/Odyssey2. I post a pic from the cover screen.

Maybe the programmer from the past can`t do this, but we had wonderful homebrews for Videopac/Odyssey2 that can scroll.
First we had Cavity from Revival Studios=

Then we had Down from Revival Studios=

An other kind of scrolling we find in Laser Blitz from Videopac Belgium=

Hi Scott,
I really missed you here and at videopac.nl for such a long time. And now I read something like this.
I hope, that you get well soon. But please, don`t let us allone. Like Rafael wrote: We are a so small community. We need everybody. Especially somebody like you.
When I had a hard time (and I had in the past), or health issues (also this I had in the past - also with hospital), helped me also my Videopac/Odyssey2 collection. Play some great games from the past, or the new ones, make all for me a little bit easier and better. Only look to my collection make me happy.
So please, think about your decision to sell parts of your great collection and your goodbye from our community.
Thank you!

Thank you for reminding me, Tom ;^)
I remember very well, because I have the SPAANS prototype from Bas. Also I have MELREP from him.
-
The name of the prototype is SPAANS; it is a simple program that translates Dutch words into Spanish and vice-versa.
-
... and one click at eBay.

Videopac 57 Blobbers (BLOB) is really a great game. This was the last released Videopac game, that has the same gfx on G7000 and G7400 consoles, without any special PLUS features.
It looks great, it`s a funny game but also difficult.
And here we get from VPB (VideopacBelgium) something special. A unreleased prototype with a different title screen. I am happy, that VPB found this prototype, so we all can play BLOB soon. This will be again a wonderful professional release with an amazing new cover and manual. Can`t wait to get it.

I posted this also at videopac nl: My first videogame system, was a Philips Videopac G7000. When I get my G7000 for christmas, my first game was VP22 Space Monster, my brother get VP 34 Satellite Attack. At my birthday, one month later, I get VP4 Air-Sea War/Battle. I played hours after hours against the big red spider at Space Monster. So long, that my parents get crazy from the monotonous sound from VP22.
I think, they thought at that time, it was the wrong christmas present for me. Also with VP4, I had so much fun with my brother.Later I get a G7400. After that, came MSX, Amiga 500, Amiga 2000, PC. Today, I own Nintendo consoles from N64 till Wii-U. There were great games for each system, but no one give me that, what I had in my childhood with Videopac. Because of that, I collect and play today only Videopac games, to bring back sometimes my glad memories from the past.
Also, the modern games, take sometimes so long time to finish. So that´s also a reason why I mostly play today some quick Videopac games, because I don´t have much time to play. And when I see our games like Munchkin, KC Krazy Case, Terrahawks, Killer Bees, Turtles, Blobbers, PickAxe Pete, Super Bee, Loony Balloon, Norseman, Helicopter Rescue, I am proud to be a Videopac owner for now more than 35 years and I don´t want to play and collect for an other system. I also love our homebrew scene with the wonderful new releases from CCC like Tutankham, Shark Hunter, Terrahawks2, Martians Threat or Flashpoint. And we have wonderful homebrews like Forbidden Lands, Mage 1-3, Down, Wildlife, Mayhem, KTAA, Mr. Roboto. And there are sooo much more great games I love.
Videopac 4ever !

Marc has enough already!
Yes, that`s true.
-
Honestly, Marc from VideopacBelgium were my back-up plan. Till now, he didn`t know this.
Maybe, you could be my back-up back-up plan ?
-
Thanks Scott. Yes, I also love my collection. Every day a little bit more.
But in fact, I wants to live forever to complete my collection one day.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.
I've often thought about quitting, but I'm always very happy when I see how many people watch these videos.
Games from a device that's now over 40 years old. So there's more out there than me who love this piece of technology so much.
