  1. Thank you You can send me a PM or order from: www.console5.com www.retromodding.com www.dragonbox.de etc. Cheers, Marco
  2. Could you send some closer pictures of the LCD ribbon of the mod kit? Perhaps it's damaged caused by the screw of the battery holder. If yes, I can send a new 3.5" LCD for exchange. I also can check it, if you want. Then send the complete LYNX with LCD mod kit to my address.
  3. The white wire is also OK, because it's the LYNX-II version C104129 with chipset of LYNX-I. Have you done the 5-Volt check? Have you still sound, if you turn it on? Please desolder all wires and just connect VCC 5Volt and GND. Then turn on with game inserted and you should have static on the screen. If not, have you mixed up the power wires? If yes, the mod kit was damaged, because the main chip was "fried".
  4. The last instructions are here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/233632-lynx-lcd-replacementvga-out-by-mcwill/?p=3453227 You also can find some awesome installation videos on YouTube: There are much more videos, just search on YouTube: McWill ATARI LYNX
  5. Perhaps the LCD hardware will switch automatically to each mode
  6. You also can send it to my address and I will have a look.
  7. Please check D0-D3. If one or more data signals permanently '1' = HIGH, the colors become brighter. Because the old LCD ribbon pads are small, there could be a short circuit. Check with multimeter or try to desolder and solder again. Let us know the result please.
  8. The GG mod kits will be available again end of January 2018.
  9. Not finished yet, sorry. I have also a lot of other projects at present. But will coming soon
  10. Please post some pictures of your wiring. Perhaps you mixed up the wires D0-D3. Please check again.
  11. It's a defective LCD (the controller IC on the glass of the LCD are defective or off). The only solution is to replace the LCD. Either the original LCD (but it will also be defective in the future) or my LCD replacement.
  12. Yes, they are still on stock. You got a PM
  13. Hi Rob, if the white pixel is always in the same game and not in other games, the SUZY IC may be faulty (then 2x2 pixel are white). Is it in ALL games, the LCD could be faulty. I had similar issues on 2 or 3 LYNX-II. I replaced the SUZY IC and all was fine. But this issue is not very often. Regards, Marco
  14. You can remove the transformator, if you want. You also can use alternative solder points for VCC +5V and GND (for example at C68 on 1ASIC board). But check the alternative points with a multimeter before!
  15. Thank you I hope you made the 5 Volt test at the beginning. When the LYNX powers on, the minimum you have to see is static on the 3.5" LCD. If not, please check the power wires +5 Volt and GND. If you mixed them up, the LCD mod was damaged. If the power wires are correct, please check the voltage with a multimeter at the voltage regulator: One pad should read 5V (input), one pad 3.3V (output) and the other pad is GND. Please also check the wires CL2 and RES. If you also soldered the backlight wire, please desolder it for testing. Perhaps you can post some pictures of your wiring.
  16. I guess they will connect it via composite. But composite is analog. A digital screen would be much better
