The price is much more than 35 USD! These are high quality components and quality checked LCDs. If you use low quality, the components can be faulty or the LCDs have bad pixels. But my customers only get checked high quality products with warranty! The shipping cost is cheaper in the EU, but sending parcels worldwide is more expensive as you know. BTW: If you learn VHDL or VERILOG and spend a few thousand hours with testing and designing PCBs and source codes, you will have your own design and source code. But don't think it's easy...

A lot of connectors could be an option. The LYNX mod doesn't provide the SCART signal. The GG mod provides the SCART signal, but the GG games then are small on TV. The GG games are only on VGA in fullscreen (and of course on the internal 3.5" TFT).

Coming soon It would be digital, not analog composite. So the quality would be better, like the GG. Thanks

Some GG Roms are running in SMS mode, "Prince of Persia" for example. Then you have to rename the ending from ***.GG to ***.SMS I think, the CF lamp is defective / end of its life. My NOMAD mod will solve this problem, because then you have a new LCD with LED backlight But I have to do some more tests with the NOMAD, before it is ready for sale.

If you have the C104129, you have to use TPR (not RES) AND close JMP1 as described in the instructions

If you desolder the schottky diode, the input voltage is almost going through all parts in the LYNX (9 Volt or more)! Then your LYNX will be fried and is definitely defective. The LYNX is never completely OFF, because of the standby circuit to turn it ON. You should not leave the batteries inside the LYNX for a long time. Different people measured the power consumption before (me too) and confirmed, that the power consumption is almost the same with the new LCD replacement, but with new viewing experience

It seems that the T10 circuit is faulty. With old LCD it displays always in GG mode, independent of the selected mode (GG or SMS)! Please check, if T10 has connection to pin64 of the left ASIC (IC3). Also perhaps there is a short circuit on pin64 / T10 to GND. Please check again, because it's the only possibility while having this error. If you still have this error, please take some pictures of your wiring.

You have forgotten the wire from T10 to VCC. Just solder this wire and the GG is running perfect Also if you use the Everdrive, some GG games are in SMS mode like Prince of Persia (the GG/SMS pin42 is open => "high", not connected to GND). Then you have to change the file format ".GG" to ".SMS".

The LYNX mod is available again next week with new firmware. Shipping to Australia is no problem. I already sent several LYNX mods and GG mods to Australia The power consumption is about the same as before, but with new viewing experience
