I have really, really been enjoying the 7800 library lately (though I realize it's limited compared to the 2600.) You factor in backwards compatibility with games/accessories and if I had to own just one, I think I'd be hard pressed not to go with the 7800

I had both when I was young. (Lost my 2600 in a flood.) When the time came to get a new Atari last year, it had to be a 7800. I only had a handful of 7800 games as a kid, but I enjoyed them too much. I really think it's the way to go, too.

I agree. You get the best of both worlds on the 7800. Both have terrific home brew games but only the 7800 will play them all.

Try searching for a "Cuttle Cart", eBay decides it's a "Cattle Cart" you really want...lol.

I'm not sure yet, I think both? I just picked it up on my way to work so haven't even had time to play around with it yet. Extra screens/interfaces as well because of the Hybrid aspect. The Taurus is a really nice ride, congrats yourself.

Played a level of Sonic 2 this morning just to get it out of my system..

One of my first jobs was making pizza at a buffet. I'd walk in, start working as fast as I could, and it stayed that way until it was time to go. Then I'd get home, exhausted, fall asleep, and dream my exact job all night long. Wake up, go to work, make pizzas as fast as I could, go home and dream it again. There were times when I didn't know for sure if I was awake or dreaming. Worst job ever.
