  1. RCmodeler, The NES Sold 62 million The Master System (SMS) 10 million According to Lik-Sang.com's Otaku page
  2. Just a small rant from me, I was wondering, does anyone else have the problems that I get with eBay customer support? It seems like whenever I sent them a query, of any sort, I have to put in big letters "PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL" or else I get an automated reply? I find that my emails are never even properly read.. For example, I am forced to choose a "question" relating to the problem on the help section of their website. Then it shows me a related section of the website (which 99% is of no use whatsoever), so I email support, for example about a negative feedback or something like that. I spend a long time making the situation very clear etc, and then I get an automated response suggesting that I use Square Trade! LOL! Once, I said that the user's contact information was incorrect, and I couldn't ring them, what did support say? "Try requesting your buyer's contact information and telephone number"... It really annoys me! Also, recently, I uncovered a case of blatantly extreme SHILL BIDDING, this was going on because a very well astablished seller on ebay UK was bidding on items of another user, and this other user had the same name as their offline business... and I explained to ebay. First thing ebay did was ban them both for 30 days... great, the next day they were unbanned.. - WTF, then I emailed ebay again, and they banned 1 of them again, then the next day they were unbanned... I emailed ebay twice since and they dont even reply now, it's so blatant these sellers are one and the same person, they list their items in the same format, they are located in the same town, and they bid to bump up the final price (shill bidding), they are one and the same, because on the website of their offline name, they quote the website which is the username on ebay, and on that username, in the 'ME' page, they quote the same website, that the offline business quotes.. Quite complicated, but at the end of the day, I feel ebay dont care much as long as their pockets are being lined with gold... Does anyone else have similar gripes?
  3. Theres this guide here, it's also got prices http://www.diehardgamer.co.uk/retrolists/sega_mega.htm But it's not too good only 3 rarity ratings.. Usually I say just use your intuition, I mean we're always going to come accross a Fifa 95 on an outing, but if we see something that has an unbelievably cool cover, or just looks good and cheap, and it's worth having and usually turns out to be spectacular. I scored Double Dragon for the Megadrive the other day, £1, cart only, and it's going for up to £10 on ebay!
  4. I've seen it for the Genesis (megadrive) here in the UK, but not sure about the Genny
  5. I've bought games sometimes at car boot sales, only to open them to find its a different game inside... sometimes I don't check hehe.. there are so many people going around looking for games now Usually it works to my advantage... e.g. Sonic 3 in an original Sonic 1 case for Megadrive/Genesis
  6. It's obvious that these retro SNES games are being released on the GBA due to their popularity back in the day on the SNES. Personally, I don't mind it, with games such as Advance Wars and Golden Sun, and other new games like the two new Castlevania's, it's great Retro is becoming much more mainstream isn't it? I've seriously noticed that recently.. I just got an American GBA:SP recently I saw a Lynx once, but I didn't know much about them, I decided I wanted to buy it, then I went to the shop the next day and it had been sold it was expensive though.. (ebay price)
  7. Check out http://www.smspower.org that will probably answer all your SMS wonderings!

  9. So many replies! Glad to see there are so MANY who still love the "system" I've got around 800 carts, mostly boxed with instructions, and a lot of those are swaps... I've nearly got all the EURO releases, and I've got some Brazilian and some US carts. I will try and get a list of what I need! What is everyones favourite game? Alex Kidd in Miracle World really is a classic! I also like Dick Tracy, Ghouls N Ghosts, and Phantasy Star is just amazing, the graphics are so advanced, and the SMS has my favourite peripheral! The 3-D Glasses, aren't they just the coolest peripheral ever??? What does everyone think?
  10. Am I the only fan here? Does anyone want to swap games?
