  1. For a sub-$400 rig, I would say look at something powered by an AMD processor. The gaming rig I built earlier this year is run by an AMD quad-core and it clips along at a snappy rate quite happily. Besides, these days it isn't as much about your CPU, though it is still important to have a good one, but it definitely rests more heavily on the graphics card.

For instance, here's a really (seriously) quick-and-dirty build for you:

    MOBO: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130747 - $75

    CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113379 - $90

    RAM: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231718 - $40

    HD: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=22-236-339 -$57

    PSU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438016 - $50

    GFX: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121852 - $140

    CASE: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154095 - $35

If you want a "gamer" looking case for a few bucks more, try: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156296 - $45

TOTAL: $487 (Or $497 with the more expensive case)

So that comes in at a little more than $400. If you wanted to save some cash, you could opt for a less beefy graphics card, but if you want a chance of running GTA V you won't really want to. Even the card I listed might choke, depending on the resolution you want. Of course, if you live in the USA the prices for those items I listed will probably be less expensive. If you want a gaming PC that can run the games you listed, especially GTA V, you might have to go a little over $400. Now, if I had more time to look around I could get that cost down by finding sales and such, but this gives you an idea of what to expect.

    Hope that helps!

I'm trying to get one for $400 or less(as right now mom has no job so money could go to more important things) but I will keep your build in mind when I'm on my own and will be allowed to spend that much on one  .do you know what's the best PC I can get built or build for $400 or less?Much Appreciated

  2. 3. So I don't know anything about PC's and I want to know what is the cheapest PC I can buy to play these(below) games. So far I see a ThinkCentre M83 for $330(normal price is 583.20)and it has an Intel® Core™ i3-4130 Processor (2 cores / 4 threads, 3.4GHz, 3MB cache) but don't know if that's any good to run the below games and similar(by similar I mean graphically similar and from the same years). The games:Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2

    Need For SPeed Underground
    Need For Speed Underground 2
    Need For Speed Most Wanted
    Most Wanted(2012)
    Need For Speed Pro Street
    Ultimate Spider-man
    amazing spider man 2
    Rayman Legends
    Deadpool
    Primal Carnage
    Trials Fusion
    Cabela's African Adventures
    GTA San Andreas
    GTA IV
    GTA V
    Left 4 Dead
    Left 4 Dead 2
    escape dead island
    Dead Island
    Turok(2008)
    Resident Evil 4
    Resident Evil 5
    Resident Evil 6
    resident evil operation raccoon city
    Resident Evil Revelations
    Batman Arkham Origins
    Epic Mickey

    Double Dragon Neon
    Alone In The Dark
    TMNT: Out of the Shadows

    Retro City Rampage
so tell me would that computer be able to run those games fine or do I need something else and if so what can I get for $400 or less?.

  4. .Have ever single nes,Snes,Virtual Boy,n64,Gamecube,Wii,Gameboy,Gameboy Color,Gameboy Advance,DS and 3DS title able to be downloaded/and or played on the Wiiu

.make an accessory to make said console's controllers work on the Wiiu

.make a new Alex Kidd game(this would go great as a 3DS eshop title)

.make every single SG-1000,Master System,Genesis,Saturn, Dreamcast and gamegear title work on the Wiiu

  5. The system alone is worth twice what he's asking and the fact that it comes with the box and it's the Video Entertainment System(what it was called before it was called the Fairchild Channel F) system buying it is a no brainer.Unlike what some would say,it has some decent games and a great 2 player console.I'd say go for it :D

  6. Anyone play The Forest?

It is still in alpha but new content is being added all the time. Been playing it for a little bit and it's very fun with a lot of potential. Death is permanent!

You must survive alone in an island after your plane crashes with all the passengers... Cannibals inhabit the island and will be curious on why you're cutting down trees!

    Fun stuff!

Do you need a fast powerful expensive ass computer to run this?.If not i'd download this in a heartbeat.

  7. You guys the movie isn't gonna be about falling blocks and shit.it’s a very big, epic sci-fi movie,” Threshold’s C.E.O., Larry Kasanoff, told the Journal. “This isn’t a movie with a bunch of lines running around the page. We’re not giving feet to the geometric shapes.” The people at Tetris were equally vague. In a press release, the company said, “In this new universe, as you’ll soon find out, there’s much more to Tetris than simply clearing lines". But still what could it possible be?

  8. Wanna pick one of these up because I'm bored with the portables I have. Anyone an expert on this system? What are the must have games that I can buy? Ps, I only know English.

The Wonderswan/Color/Crystal is a great little cheap handheld and deserves more recognition than it does. Now before you go out and buy one,do know that they are very small.I very seldom play mine because of how small it is but get this,it's barely smaller than a original GBA and I find the size of those to be fine so maybe it's the plastic the Wonderswan Color uses I don't know. Now as far as English games,I found a list from Hunged13,a member here:http://atariage.com/forums/topic/192439-my-list-of-playablefor-non-japanese-speakerswonderswan-games/.Not that many games for English speakers(some of the real gems are most likely in Japanese) like you and me but it could have been smaller ;).

  9. Well...If you want to buy PS vita, I would recommend you to buy JXD S7800B, PSP,NDS,GBA,GBC,GB,WSC PS1, N64 etc. 16 emulators are available on it.

or just hack a Vita and be able to emulator all those console/handhelds plus the entire PSVita,PSP and PS1 library(something the JXD can't do)

  10. Price lowered. This is the cheapest Lost World cabinet now for sale that I can find... and in the best shape. Go figure :/

*looks at lowered price* :-o  :lust:   Whoever's reading this, that price is a steal for how good the game is.Again,if only I was allowed to spend that much on an arcade machine,I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

  11. Why in the flying **** would you sell Jurassic Park, the best arcade of all time? :o ...Oh i see now :P.The wife is more important than that cab.If i was allowed the drop that much on this beautiful cab I would buy this in a heartbeat. And why didn't you tell them that if they don't buy it a velociraptor will kill them in their sleep  .Anyways good luck with sell and hope your wife gets better(heres hoping she gets better without you needing to sell the cab :P )

  12. If you're getting a PSP,a 3000,Go or even better a PSVita is the ONLY way to go.for one they have better screens and some games benefit from the 333,480 and 800 MHZ of the 3000/GO/Vita(one some emulators like Mame4all,some of the games like Contra are slow on my 1 and 2000 PSP's but faster on the newer ones).
Here are some of my favorite emulator, homebrew apps/games:

    Capcom CPS1/CPS2 emulator:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42NBI7COjpo

honestly I had no hope for these emulators. If my 3000 could not run Contra or Bionic Commando, 80's arcade games, then what are the changes it could run games the likes of Marvel VS. Capcom,DarkStalkers,Aliens,Ghouls N Ghosts etc?.Well to my amazement not only does all the CPS1 and 2 games run,but at perfect speed(if there not at perfect speed I couldn't tell a difference).Links:http://tinyurl.com/onhhwl4 http://tinyurl.com/oujwxt4

    Mame emulator:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgPEhSXCtcA

You would think that if the above emulator can run all the games perfectly than an emulator that has 80's arcade games would run perfectly aswell right?.Well no it does not. Here is a list of games that comes with the emulator(some more not on this list work but not just any game works, only certain games work :( ):http://shrib.com/IXRY0Q7K.now some of the games like the Pac-mans,Donkey Kongs,Frogger,Burger Time,Dig Doug,Space invaders etc. ran perfectly while games like Xybots,Contra, bionic Commando,Star wars and such ran at a slow speed(still playable but not at a perfect speed as the other games). Some games(the Stern games like Berzerk and joust did not work at all).overall it's not bad but it could be better(playing them on a Go or even better a Vita may make them run at the correct speed as they have more MHZ).Link:http://tinyurl.com/nmcb4v3

    Neo Geo emulator:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbtfSnmD1k0

I personally haven't tried this emulator out yet but from the video it seems to be running at normal speed.I dunno if all the Neo Geo arcade games run on the emulator but from the looks of it,it runs quite a few classics.Link:http://tinyurl.com/lwoeajz
