New PC is up and running, and what a improvement! Went from 2.4 to 3.8 Ghz processor, 8 to 16 Gig of RAM, and Windows 8.1 over Windows 7 (but upgrading to Win 10 when it comes out.)

I am currently debating between purchasing an Atari 7800 with an Edladdin Super Twin arcade stick and all the arcade ports on the system, or getting a bartop sized 60-in-1 JAMMA arcade cabinet. The arcade cabinet would play almost all the same games I want to play plus a few more, but the Atari 7800 is... well, it's an Atari! Tough choice.

I think that nostalgia and the assumption that the original can never be beaten blinds a person and makes them think that reboots and sequels of movies and video games are not as good.

In the last 10 seconds of the auction I bidded $1.04 and the auction ended it said I lost and when I went to see the winning price it was the exact price that I bidded. How is this possible?

Seems I got banned from the chat for suggesting that it might be becoming a humorless police-state. I wonder if mentioning this fact will get me banned from posting updates as well.
