    Got quite possibly my best find yet, a boxed Amstrad GX4000 and wait for it.....a RDI Halcyon total was under $700 so I was more than happy to pay that, plus I got the Raiders Football Halcyon games so even more icing on the cake

      Just got to love ebay auctions... Really, good luck on getting the carts, the keyboard, and the control module - you'll probably need it if you keep the thing.

    Well my dad when I was growing up had pretty much every console and handheld, protos for many consoles(some that cant even be found on the net) around 20 thousand individual games including Air Raid(which I called blue shooter when I was young) and Nintendo World Championships but it all tragically burned in a house fire while was at school and to top it off, my dad had JUST gotten me Street Fighter Alpha for the CPS Changer(Capcom's version of the Neo Geo) Anyway recently Ive been trying to gather all the consoles and handhelds(not including regional varients as some have like 30 regional varients). Most wont care andsome will say Im bullshitting about my dad having all that crap but im doing it for myself and I could care leaa what you think. No im not asking for help, juat letting you know. Just got me a Amstrad GX4000 boxed so will show pics later. And whats surprising is that I got a really really rare console aswell this week and you'll get pics later

    Why the phuck is Nes's so expensive nowadays. Last I checked they were on Ebay buy it now for $60 and those were overpriced(they sold for about $30 less), now you can't find one for less than $60... sheesh

      Well, consider that there were what, 34 million North American units sold between front and top loaders. Probably a chunk ended up being thrown out either due to age or pin connector problems. Others probably stopped working due to other issues, but let's say there are, at minimum, 20 million units left.

       

      Now think about just how many people are actually interested in classic game collecting? It's in the millions. And if you already have an NES, you're probably not reall...

    Saying that no more forums needed to be mad is wildly ignorant. Some forums Ive seen only specializes in a certain videogame hardware company or only a few. I'm making my own forum that specializes in all of them From the Odyssey and Microvision and everything in between like the mega Duck and 1292 APVS to the PS4 and 3DS. I'm going to have a DETAILED encyclopedia that goes in depth of all consoles and handhelds(not including regional variants as there's too many of them) and pics of them. I'm also planning to have a magazine and unlike some forums, it will be very smartphone friendly. Also I'm hoping to have a way to store your collection and not like the usual text based way most forums that have this use, but more on the line of what Collectorz and GCstar uses

    It says Nintendo on the thing and if the person is not a collector or have had a N64 before, I doubt he know what the plug looks like so he's just going by what it says on thing. Can't fault him on that...
