  1. We had the ECS as my Dad felt burned the keyboard component never came out and was hellbent on making the intellivision into the family computer. I had Scooby-Doo, Played it a ton, Mr Basic and World Series, which I played with an intellivoice for years. Never understood the negative reviews for World Series I have read, but that could be my own nostalgia. I remember it being on par with some nes baseball games. I also had the synthesizer but no melody blaster.
  2. Add another to the list if you would. Thank you
  3. Keep up the great work Groovy, I know most people will appreciate this is done in hobby time and you don't owe us a thing on this one.
  4. In defense of Space Armada, When we got our intellivision a sunny Saturday morning from Krazy Kelly's, the two games Dad bought with it were Space Armada and Baseball. My Mom rocked Space Armada and unbeknownst to us, she would play it daily while we were at school. One day she sat down to play with us and killed it. Everything invisible and still going, we had to leave the console on for 2 days on a TV tray until finally we turned it off. Space Armada will always hold a special place for me, one of the first ones I played when I got a flashback. The coleco games just made me sad after all the anticipation, but I still played the hell out of em, it was what we had. As a kid, the worst games for me were roulette and backgammon.
  5. If anyone is thinking of ordering their pack now, I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago and got my tracking number today, so current turnaround looks to be about four weeks. Just giving people a heads up.
  6. Really good intro theme song this month Paul, this one has to be my fav mix so far, the drum beat lead in to the dump was great
  7. This game plays incredibly well on the cabinet using nostalgia. The tunnel complaints are non exisitant here, but may be different when I finally get to play it on a regular CRT TV. Great controls and spot on sound. Well done again sir!
  8. Paid last night and had the ROM in less than 30 minutes, quicker than a pizza delivery! Thanks Carl, looking forward to buying the next ROM.
  9. I also get giddy as I see the thread updated, I will also thank you with my wallet one the cart is released, but thanks again for all the efforts.

  13. I am in! What a great way to get a new intellivision game at a great price, sooooooooo looking forward to this. I for one, who is just getting back into the scene, would love to get a couple of new roms with the LTO flash cart, I jumped on D2K when it came up last month and could'nt be happier.
  14. Got my three from Bed Bath and Beyond today, I can't believe how nice the controllers feel. Now to try and do some work for the rest of day......
  15. Hey not all Canadians have terrible taste in hockey teams, Go Bruins
  16. It is a great service you are providing I am sure everyone is more than appreciative. I am kind of looking forward to the prospect of putting the flashback controller on my 2609, although I haven't hammered out exactly how that is going to go.
  17. Thanks for the tip! I just ordered three from Bath Bath & Beyond, and got free shipping because I spent over 50.00. One for me, one for my sister as a gift and one to replace the controllers on my original Intellivision. I have access to a US broker through work so I just needed an online source to buy em. Thanks again moonlight_mile.
  18. Well this will take some of the sting off not getting a flashback this run. Melody blaster here I come
  19. I just ordered the D2K rom and officially have dipped my toes in the homebrew rabbit hole, here's hoping I dont fall all the way in.
  20. Great episode 12 looks like I will have to try thin ice out now, on the cabinet (thanks Rick) I never had this one as a kid and I cant wait for the LTO Flash to try it out. Thanks for all the work you put into the show guys, it is great source of information and entertainment, after all, what's more fun than intellivision? Keep it clean rev,
  21. Wow, thank you very much guys, I just happen to have pretty much all of these games, and I almost forgot to try utopia with her, but we will start off with shark shark centipede and burgertime tonight. These are all great suggestions and if it goes well we will hit the whole list. This is a great board I really appreciate the suggestions and rev, good call, she used to play Popeye back in the day and it was the first one she wanted to play on the arcade cabinet.
  22. After hearing me drone on about it for a couple of years, my wife is going to play Intellivision with me, I ask you, what game do we start with? I am afraid I will beat her too badly at Baseball to start so, again, Brotherhood, what are the top 5 games to set up for her inaugural play? I thank you in advance for your help and expertise.
  23. No Spiker I am afraid, but I did find a complete Fathom It does have some damage to rear of the box and the corner is'nt great, but maybe It looks to be in otherwise great shape
