  1. Yeah! This is no small unreleased game either. This is THE holy grail of canned Jaguar projects, before moving to the N64 as Tetrisphere.
  2. If anybody cares to try, i did a listing of Game compatibility at another forum so anybody can report what works and doesn't work on BPE: https://hg101.proboards.com/thread/14217/phoenix-project-emulator-jaguar-emulation https://hg101.proboards.com/thread/14160/games-run-on-virtual-jaguar
  3. The text says something in the line of "This application cannot be executed on the setup. To find a version for your setup, consult with the software sponsor"
  4. Question: how can i run the emulator on Windows 10? I'm not kidding, it says that the software cannot be executed on my CPU and i have a decent rig.
  5. It would be a good thing to notify the author, as he likely meant the official releases and some of the post releases. Giving him .ROMs for testing might be the way to make the games you listed for example to be compatible. I really wish all the best for the author and i hope his medical operation goes well. My dad unfortunately passed away last year due to cancer at age 47.
  6. A new emulator is out now. This is not a drill. Huge shoutout to the author! https://www.richwhitehouse.com/jaguar/index.php
  7. Maybe in the future, but i really wish the emulator's author the best for his health. The only emulator that did offer Jag CD emulation was Project Tempest with 3 games IIRC.
  8. Speaking of emulators, news broke out that a new Jaguar emulator is coming out in a few days. https://twitter.com/DickWhitehouse/status/1597747333885620227
  9. Holy ****! Before the year is over, we have this megaton announcement for the Jaguar! I seriously look foward to the final product
  10. If i had to guess, they took project tempest (and other emulators most likely) as basis to write a new emulator for the Jaguar, which is a smart move if you ask me.
  11. Trust me, they will. I actually helped them find and release the Game Boy Color prototype of Towers II that was never released in 2020 IIRC, since i had contact with Vince Valenti of JV Games (very nice guy to talk with).
  12. I can give to 'ya with Pitfall being an Activision IP, but AVP was published by Atari, though that one is because of licensing issues. There were a lot of hands into that title (Atari, Rebellion, Activision, and 20th Century Fox/Disney).
  13. Here's a round-up of what people more or less thought about the collection: https://www.timeextension.com/news/2022/11/round-up-heres-what-reviewers-are-making-of-atari-50-the-anniversary-celebration
  14. Well... crap XD i do hope one day we see another prototype for the Game.com
  15. What are the odds of coming across with another unreleased Game.com titles? I just wanna know if that planned Furby game did move beyond the announcement.
  16. Hey, if you somehow still have the interviews you did and posted on multiple forums, then you should contact these guys. They are looking for interviews with old online game developer interviews to repost them on their website so they don't get lost in the sands of time. Just a suggestion: https://www.gamingalexandria.com/wp/
  17. I like me some SplatterHouse goodness so, this is grade A material i'm looking foward on the Jaguar
  18. Five Atari Lynx Games are coming to PC via Steam (this website was the first to report it, hence the Japanese language): - Checkered Flag - Electrocop - Gates of Zendocon - Todd's Adventure in Slime World - Zarlor Mercenary https://www.4gamer.net/games/038/G003821/20221028067/
  19. Disney owns both Alien and Predator ever since the Fox buyout. But it beats the hell out of me why they don't own at least Iron Soldier 1, since that's the one Atari published, whereas the 2nd one was published by Telegames.
  20. Do you guys have plans to make the Jaguar emulator that was written for the collection publically available online?
  21. If there's one thing about The Humans is that no matter the version, it always featured good music, but the Jaguar renditions are the ones i like the most.
  22. Well... crap! I forgot that you already did it XD
  23. That's the reason why i said how much money these licenses cost. Also, we don't know how much Evercade spend on more than 10 titles. The ones i somehow see actually possible are Slap Fight and Flying Shark, but even then people would complain that Slap Fight doesn't have the extras seen in the Sega Genesis version. Another approach would be what Ocean did for the unreleased Amiga version of Snow Bros. (That being recreating the sprites and visuals pixel by pixel, which was very time consuming). The Toaplan System 2 hardware was so good that it was still being used from 1991 (as Teki Paki was the first to use it) until Battle Bakraid (1999 IIRC).
  24. Last month, i saw that a Japanese company called Tatsujin is licensing games from the catalogue of Toaplan. For those unaware, Toaplan was a prolific maker of shooters, with their best known games being Truxton, Zero Wings, Twin Cobra, and Flying Shark, to name a few. They also made games in other genres. Here's the full rundown for the interested: * Tiger-Heli * Guardian * Slap Fight * Flying Shark * Wardner * Twin Cobra * Rally Biker * Truxton * Hellfire * Twin Hawk * Demon's World * Zero Wing * Fire Shark * Snow Bros. * Out Zone * Teki Paki * Vimana * Ghox * Pipi & Bibi's (that's the actual name) * Truxton II * FixEight * Dogyuun * Grind Stormer * Knuckle Bash * Batsugun * Snow Bros. 2 ( Other titles to see are available here: https://www.toaplangames.co.jp/license.html ) The reason i started this thread was becuse of two examples: Evercade licensed various games from that catalogue for their Toaplan Arcade releases and the (as of date unreleased) Xevious port for the Jaguar. As Raiden and Crescent Galaxy are the only shoot 'em ups on the platforms. Having more of them wouldn't be a bad idea, esepcially since (AFAIK) pretty much all of Toaplan games starting from Flying Shark used the 68000 processor as the main CPU. Although the major question would be how much are these licenses would cost for a licensed Jaguar port. So, what do you guys think of the idea? I wanna hear your thoughts on this subject
