      Yeh probably..

If you write ROM hard enough, the change might take place.

      That's what I thought when I was a kid.

OK, just don't make the mistake then to write your C++ constants with a leading 0 ;-)

Nice. I'm hoping that if the wife is given full diability again in 18 months, the motability charity will be offering them. They seem to be a similar retail price to our current car.

  6. Side scrolling like a boss!

Do bosses scroll sideways? I thought they mostly sat in their offices or attended meetings.

Well they are always trying to cut corners and ordering their slaves to make coffee for them.

That would probably make for an interesting video game boss; a business guy who tries to throw coffee at you.

Maybe somebody could make a mod? Or an adapter to use a real 6502?

  10. One step closer to programming the Atari 2600 in Visual C++ :)

  12. Time to dust off the FPGA dev board

    1. CPUWIZ

      CPUWIZ

Why do you feel you need it for bus stuffing?

    2. ZackAttack

      ZackAttack

I don't. I just think it's better suited for interfacing with the vcs busses. An ARM MCU could do it too, but that wastes a lot of cycles

  13. My ARM dev board finally arrived today :)

    1. Bryan

      Bryan

Doing some AVR32 stuff myself, but I wouldn't mind learning some ARM since everything has one.

    2. CPUWIZ

      CPUWIZ

LMAO. ARM is sweet, made a couple of games for portable PlayStation's with a lot of ARM assembly.

    3. CPUWIZ

      CPUWIZ

My LOL was for Bryan's ARM reference, btw.!

Automate the generation of timed code used to display the background in games. Basically a wysiwyg graphics editor.

How could you possibly build the wrong thing right? It will always be wrong.
