  1. Not that big a deal, really. There's a guy, Charles Taylor III, IIRC that has/had a bunch of these NOS in the original shipping containers. I bought one from him way back around 1995 or so with 13 sealed NOS games for $110. I'd say you could maybe get $150 on Ebay for it.
  2. Just as good a question as mine. How and why are you still allowed on AtariAge? Why? Because I've done nothing wrong. It's not like I'm some immature mod who repeatedly tries to start fights in the forums with certain members, hoping they'll fight back so I can ban them. A person like that would be a total dick! It means a whole lot of nothing when some childish bigot who hates my politics wants to repeatedly report me to a mod, hoping it will get me banned. I actually have to have done something wrong first. But you already know this. Guess what? Now YOU get to be reported to Albert. Wow, that's how you choose to respond, with another public display of your bigotry and ignorance. Thank you for perfectly illustrating my point, once again. Grow up already or at least try to confine your stupid comments to the P&R forum.
  3. Viewtiful Joe was THE big non-Mario/Zelda GC exclusive game but now both VJ games are coming to the PS2. Most of the best games seem to start out on or eventually make their way to the PS2.
  4. It's a good thing though, I can't wait until Al gets back and reads all this nonsense. How and why did CPUWIZ ever get to be a mod?
  5. The DINA system played CV and SG-1000 games. I don't know about the SG-3000. SMS games could be made to work on the CV but it might involve having to re-do a lot of the graphics/sprites. The SMS can display more colors than the CV, which can only do 16.
  6. Don't waste your time with ColEm, it's totally crappy. Use MEKA.
  7. Does this work on any emulator? I've tried it on MESS and I get a rolling screen and other problems.
  8. does anyone know of a site that has ti99 manuals archived? I'm looking for a Microsurgeon manual right now. Also, was Demon Attack and Super Demon Attack released for the system or just one? I've seen references to both.
  9. Has anyone ever seen a Neo Geo in a McDonalds? I've seen a NG cabaret with Ronald McDonald on it. Was this a chainwide thing or just one franchisee doing this?
  10. Here's a cabaret DECO cab that's been MAMEed. I wonder if the guy still has the PCB/tapes/dongles? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting
  11. Someone who is naughty might use the BIN button on all his auctions and forget to pay him.
  12. Have you seen the 'Spirit' demo? It's on the web somewhere, in an online java version as well. It's not a game, justa gfx demo but it's pretty amazing, sound-wise as well.
  13. IIRC, that MSX version is actually the first game, and the one released in the US was it's sequel but since they never released the first here they didn't call it Yie Are Kung Fu II.
  14. It's not worth too much work trying to rebuild a cocktail table case. All cocktail tables are basically the same. There's the Namco type, then the other SI/Nintendo type with the metal legs. It's stupid IMO to pay a lot, or put a lot into these when you could buy any cheap-o, non working cocktail, put your CC board, CP, and that little scoresheet under the glass and it's the same thing.
  15. I've seen that. They're all dead, outdated links with no commercial games.
  16. I recall searching about a year ago for TI99 websites with game roms and reviews and they weren't hard to find at all. AFAIK the TI roms were public domain as far as TI was concerned and there were no problems with hosting them. Now, I can't find any game roms or review sites. Michael Fox's TI-99/4A Page which used to have a ton of games is gone. Anybody know what the deal is, where they all went? Also, what is the best TI99 emulator? I'm using MESS.
  17. How about an INTV emulator. The touch screen could mimic an unresponsive, worn out, membrane keypad just like on the real INTV.
  18. Quit your whining Atari users You don't know how good you have/had it. Zaxxon, Coleco ADAM user
  19. Hi opcode, Did you ever consider programming the game so the maze is displayed horizontally instead of shrinking it to fit vertically? You would need to tilt your TV to play it but hey, if you're going to go for total arcade accuracy you might as well go all the way. Are you still planning to include easier difficulty settings instead of just the regular arcade difficulty settings, which are pretty hard? NE146 mentioned that most all home versions lack the arcade trick where you can tap the joystick in the opposite direction you're traveling so when you reach a wall you'll just stop, facing the other way. Do you know what he's talking about and can you do this on your CV version?
  20. Nokia needs to hurry up and get these out there and available in service plans for $99 or less.
  21. There was supposed to be a big announcement at 10 am today. Anybody know?
  22. now? I see these oh-so-fake Ms Pac Man/Galaga, Namco classics combos and fake Ms. Pac cocktails on ebay and on coin-op dealer sites all over. I thought this was supposed to be illegal but it seems like there's tons of people slapping repro sideart on some generic cab and selling them for insane dealer prices.
  23. are never, ever, ever located even remotely within a reasonable driving distance of you? WTF is that about? Is this like a reverse Bira-Bira effect? Anytime I've ever seen anything I might want to get, it's always on the other side of the country. And yes, I've tried searching by regions.
  24. I don't know what thread you're reading but no one here is faulting him for not wanting to produce multicarts any longer. No one said he just suddenly developed his reputation as rude, crabby, etc. just since he stopped making multicarts. And as has been said multiple times now, if he doesn't want anyone to contact him about the carts, why does he still advertise them as being for sale. All he has to do is change his page to read, "I no longer sell any multicarts". That's really tough to do. You SK worshipers will defend him to the death. I can't wait till I release my own classic system cart/thingy so I too can have my own personal internet posse to shout down anyone who says anything less than glowingly positive about me. And don't you dare call my video game store or home or I'll fucking kill you, as it's well within my Classic Gaming Community Super Hero rights to do so.
