  1. livinabin said, The ceolacanth is only found from 4:00pm to 9:00am when it's raining. You can catch it in the ocean, or on the island. Look for the giant shadow. It's bigger than all the other ocean fish, but not as big as the Arapaima. Untwist those knickers and get fishin' Chuck
  2. We've played AC since about last Thanksgiving. My wife plays it the most, we have three towns going. Anyway the best time to catch Coelocanth is on a rainy day, actually the rain is good for all of the more valuable fish. I have all the fish, all but 2 bugs, all the songs and a complete museum except for that damn Banded Dragonfly. Lately I've been trying to buy all the extras in Soul Calibur II. Being a compulsive collector takes a lot of time. Chuck @Megamanfan, 2. If you mail a message to the SAME character as the code written on the front of a character card, they'll send you back an NES game. I didn't know that thanks!
  3. Ian, Welcome back. I just recently started visiting again too. Chuck
  4. Thomas said - Darn, I already burned the earlier version to a chip and soldered it to a board. I labeled the cart 'Cave' so at least in my house that's the official name. I like the early version, but I'll make a cart of the final version as well. (Assuming there ever is a final version) Chuck
  5. Here's mine, the blue shorting plugs are more black than blue. The Diag cart has MAO17600 hand written on a label on the back, the signal tracing cart only has the white label on the front. The book is complete with all the revision notes too. I've used this quite a bit it's come in handy over the years. Chuck
  6. Thomas, It's excellent, I like the current helicopter control. The helicopter reminds me of one of my all time favorite 8-bit games, Fort Apocalypse. Your game is fun in it's own right, but I can see it evolving into something awesome. Chuck
  7. Sorry to be such a stranger, but I just wanted to post that my copy #33 just arrived. The outer box was beat up but the contents were fine. I'll try it out this evening. Thanks Thomas for getting the process moving. (and programming the game) No hard feelings Fish, I'm happy you made this right. -Chuck
  8. Thomas, I do not have access to a fax. Would it be acceptable for me to print out and sign the forms, scan them and email a jpg image of it to you? I could also include the paypal transaction detail as well. Thanks, Chuck
  9. Wow 8 pages, see what you miss when real life intrudes. Thomas, I see that you found me on your Thrust+ list. I'm "Payed" via paypal and listed as waiting for #33. That info is correct. I'm in for whatever action you feel is needed. There isn't a lot I can do here except wait. Maybe I won't have to plan a 1 year anniversary party now. Thanks, Chuck
  10. ebay = cmgill Original aren't I. -Chuck
  11. Great idea! I'll add a second button to it and give it a try. -Chuck
  12. The battery life seems much better than the external flip up light I was using. The afterburner is much more effective too. -Chuck
  13. TG16 Bomberman is one the all-time classics. I still will play Splatterhouse occasionally too. Splatterhouse was the first game that was like seeing a car wreck to me, you have to look even though you don't want too. -Chuck
  14. Awesome find! What part of the country are you in? I'm curious because my wife found a bunch of 5200 loaners at a garage sale in the Chicago suburbs a couple of years ago. -Chuck
  15. All the really 1337 d3wdz have a custom h4xx0r3d controller. -Chuck
  16. Thanks everyone! The first one was made from some paddles that had a cracked housing and a plastic project box. I wouldn't mind making more if I can find some reasonably priced boxes, cables, pots and knobs. I hate to destroy a pair of paddles for the knobs, pots, and cable for each one. If anyone would like to make their own it's actually fairly easy, way easier than modifying a Pac-man cart to take an eprom. Plus it's well worth the trouble. -Chuck
  17. Hank, I have some third party power supplies that are perfect replacements. They are 9vdc 500ma with the correct end. They are brand new and much cheaper than Radio Shack. The cord is shorter than the orginal Atari, but it is still pretty long. If you can't find one locally drop me a PM or Email. -Chuck
  18. I've always known it as Clown Downtown. I have it as a loose eprom. The fun wears thin quickly, it seems more of a demo than anything. -Chuck
  19. @Rob, I've been playing with the controller sitting on the floor. It's a 4 x 6 inch box so my hands are about as far apart as they would be with a playstation controller. It doesn't weigh much at all, just a little more plastic than a pair of paddles. -Chuck
  20. I got tired of trying to use the loose paddles to play Marble Craze, so I made a controller. It makes the game much more intuitive. The red button on top is the paddle 0 trigger for starting and pausing. Everybody should make one, Paul's game deserves it's own controller. -Chuck
  21. -Buying 2600 games since 78 -Collecting since the early 90's (when they were cheap) -Showpiece - Marble Craze I have about 465 unique 2600 carts, add the label variations and it's a lot more. It'll be a while before I catch CPUWIZ. If you count games for all the systems it would be in the thousands. -Chuck
  22. Wow! I was thinking of doing essentially the same thing with a small catalog of really obscure third party games. No hacks or homebrews except for Pac-Invaders 1.5. Here is the first prototype recreation, it's Apollo's Guardian. I know the label needs work, but I need to use the Pac-man yellow background. -Chuck
  23. Do you think if I win one of Jahfish's auctions, he would ship my Thrust+ with it? -Chuck
