I was checking around on the excellent pong-story when I noticed that there was a game called "Haunted House" for the 'ol Magnavox Odyssey. Would this be counted as the first horrror game (it's before Haunted House on the VCS)?

As you can probably see from my avatar, my favorite villain has to be...Evil Otto! That happy smile makes him look friendly and nice, and then, when you least expect it, he bounces all over you! What a sneaky bastard! Oh, and he's invincible.

I'm doing a little hackin' on Bank Heist (graphic changes). Here's what I would like to know: How do I change the colors of the cars? Is there any way to change the look on the maze walls? Is it possible to edit the mazes to look different?

I'm just wondering, 'cause I've heard about the "Fuji logo" before, isn't that really the Atari logo? It looks darn alike.

Just a little question from a newbie: why would someone want to hack E.T? Unless, of course, you're gonna do some improvement on the (extremely boring) gameplay.

I read about the Venetian Blinds Demo over at atariprotos.com, but I can't seem to find any rom or anything. Is there a Venetian Blinds Demo-rom somehwere?

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT nazi propaganda in ANY way, just as little as the original Wolfenstein was. I've been hackin' around with Berzerk, and here's my prototype of Wolfzerk (Wolfenstein-Berzerk). Things I've changed: Some of the walls displays swatsikas. The robots have been changed to nazi soldiers (who do heil hitler-thingys with their arms). The hero holds a gun in his hand. Evil Otto has been changed to the just-as-evil Hans Grosse (the first boss in Wolfenstein 3D). Again, this is NOT nazi propaganda. What do you think? wolfzerk.zip

That's suposed to be just his head, of ya wonder. And I also forgot to say that the "shields" have been changed to Corelian Corvettes (the ship that Leia travels in the beginning of episode IV), tough you probably figured that out already. And yes, I know SI is popular to hack, but ya gotta start somewhere, right? My next project will be a Berzerk hack, I think.

Here's my first graphical hack. It's a Star Wars-themed Space Invaders hack. I changed the ship to an X-wing, the invaders to different imperial ships (TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE bomber, Gunship, TIE Advanced and Star Destroyer) and the UFO that flies past into that most annoying of Star Wars characters, Jar Jar Binks. Yes, I did stay withing the 10 pixel-height. I did notice that the sprites are upside-down when viewed in hack-o-matic.

I used hack-o-matic to edit a sprite (the ship) in Space Invaders. But when I tried the edited version, all sort of weirdo things happens. The alien I hit isn't the one that is destroyed and aliens disapears and reapears. What's the problem?

I'm using the li'll hack-o-matic, but I wonder, where's the hero (square) sprite? I think it's somewhere between 0c05 and 0c24, am I right?
