Have you ever thought about using an ESP32 and it's internal BT instead of an RPI Zero + SD-Card + power supply + external BT?

I had to order some "Ninjish Guy" stuff for my kids at Teepublic, so i also ordered a long sleeve for me: it took nearly 2 month to Germany, and i had to pay 11€ additional customs duty for all the stuff. -

Which hardware are you using? Unfortunately i don't have an AtariVox to test your build on the PlusCart. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.. (Joseph Heller)

I think playfield-interlacing might be much better for games with more "action" like Sokoboo or BoulderDash..

I gave that version a chance to show it's "features", but this time no creative chess rule interpretations showed up. I prefer the non-interlaced version it is clear and calm. The lines of the interlaced version are slightly thicker, but the noticeable flickering irritates me a bit.

The image doubles when the Joystick is moved to the right. I first thought it is a problem with my SB implementation, but it behaves the same on Stella. So I think you have some more Bugs to fix Your engine has an unusual kind of "gameplay", but it is very interesting and it's got great potential. Some suggestions for improvements: center the animation horizontaly some kind of indication on each frame which options are available more sound colored animation thanks is appreciated

Tested on PAL 2600jr with the PlusCart (Loading time is quite a few seconds for 128kb): VID_20200710_123604.mp4

The interlaced version works on my PAL TV. It is flickering not much but noticeable. Compared to the non-interlaced version the lines seem to be (slightly) thicker.

Yes the contrast was very good. I played a short game with this version, until the AI made a very clever trick, it captured my pawn "en passant" several moves after it moved his pawn passed mine. My pawn indeed made a 2 square beginning move, but this was several moves before all this happened. ? After this ingenious move i managed to win the game with my unpredictable "power off" move.

I have tested the first 12 levels on a PAL 2600Jr. with the PlusCart and it was working fine. So UnoCart should work too.

When i drink my coffee from this mug, my 5 year old daughter gets sad, because her Ninjish Guy hoodie has not arrived yet.

New "test" version v0.14.9 available in PlusStore with: experimental DPC+ timing tweaks There seems to be some timing issues with the NTSC VCS, which has a slightly higher CPU clock than the PAL VCS. So could NTSC user please update and test the DPC+ ROMs in "Public ROMs/DPC+ (expertimental)", especially "DPC+ demo.bin" (use select switch) and the recompiled collect2_xxx demos.

diy What I'll need for a Prototype Cart Build?
Al_Nafuur replied to Prince Manic's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
I didn't know these project before, but they are very interesting.. There is a Project by @vcsrocks with a approach to do all these bank switching types with one setup: He has sent me 3 of his breadboard PCBs in exchange for a PlusCart DIY kit. Unfortunately he has not been online since the beginning of the corona lockdown here in germany. -
You just need to change the colors for an PAL60 version. There is a very good tool at @Random Terrain 's website: https://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-tia-color-charts.html#ntsc_pal_color_conversion

Great game, i would love to have a PAL version.. the zero of your score font does not have the same style than the other digits. The zero is round while the others are square.

The new Atari VCS had a return rate of about 3 million before itself came out. ?
