I highly recommend his book ONCE UPON ATARI. Anyone interested in what it was like working at Atari should read it. ET alone didn't kill the Industry, bad business decisions from Atari ultimately killed Atari.

In case anyone needs a refresher.
Loved that game. One of the early "Album" cover EA packages. I remember my bus trip home from the mall with it!

It's slowly filling like a rising tide.

I was hoping for something like this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/366910/The_Long_Journey_Home/
Watch the short Tutorials #2 and #3 to get an idea what i'd like to see in Lunar Lander Beyond. It's about 10GB and will
fit on USB or SD card.
I figured for 99cents on sale I'll give it a try.

Might as well bump this while I'm here rereading this. I just ordered and figured I'd recap what I have to look forward too! 😄

Excellent! I hope there's an interview with the person who designed the ST case.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. I'm hoping it's an improved version of Daedalic Entertainment's game, The Long Journey Home.

Watch tutorial video #2 and #3 to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

An EPYX Recharged series would be great!
There's a few here I'd like to see updated and make a comeback.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Epyx_games
All the Lynx games released on Atari 50! And Recharged updates for them too!

Rogue for the ST will be released.
I play Rogue Touch for iOS. It's excellent. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rogue-touch/id303471870 It's like having a portable ST version in your hands. I highly Recommend it. If Atari gets this removed from the Apple store it will upset me.

Thanks for sharing here @PowerDubs .Saw this on Reddit while I was on lunch today at work. It's amazing how many people on the Reddit roguelikes area are upset about this. They're flat out calling Atari "scummy". Why?
https://www.reddit.com/r/roguelikes/comments/19akg8f/atari_filed_trademark_for_rogue/
For me Rogue and Atari go together like peanut butter & chocolate.A perfect match. Rogue was one of the first games I purchased for my then new 520ST computer.
It will always be special to me for that reason. Atari getting Epyx catalog! Great news if they publish some remakes or sequels.

The Video Game Critic has a pretty good collection of Lynx reviews.
Go to the link below and then hit the rightmost column header to rank games graded from A to F.
This is a decent start. But I still scratch my head at his F- grade for Slime World. I had so much fun exploring the levels in that game.

100% THIS! That intro music! So good. If you like puzzle games get it.
Check out Rygar, a personal favorite of mine. Smooth scrolling hack&slash game.

Yes! Numeric keypad gamers rise! I’ve been saying for years a console dedicated to the original keypad consoles would be awesome.
We can call it the Intelivision 5200.-

I usually get keys by buying bundles. Mostly from the "Humble Bundle" website. I typically slide the amount so that I am giving the maximum amount to charity. Sometimes the bundles include games I already have, so I periodically take inventory of extras that I have.
You can buy a pretty great bundle right now: Awesome Games Done Quick 2024 (pay what you want and help charity) (humblebundle.com)
Wow That's great! After the 12 days on that bundle will a new one come out? Thanks so much for sharing this! I love that some of the money goes to help people.

Thanks! Yes, I purposely picked from your review list the games I owned back in the day. I was hoping to see The Pawn,Captive,Xenon2, Marble Maddness and Rogue on it. That's more then ok.There's always the 40th anniversary.Excited to learn about some games I never played.
A lot more common as we get older.
Thanks for the heads up! Time to fire up STeem!
