FYI, all the games you mentioned are reviewed, so you obviously have good taste!

Thanks! Yes, I purposely picked from your review list the games I owned back in the day. I was hoping to see The Pawn,Captive,Xenon2, Marble Maddness and Rogue on it. That's more then ok.There's always the 40th anniversary.Excited to learn about some games I never played. ;)

In case anyone needs a refresher. :D

Loved that game. One of the early "Album" cover EA packages. I remember my bus trip home from the mall with it!

  3. Might as well bump this while I'm here rereading this. I just ordered and figured I'd recap what I have to look forward too! 😄

    interviews, emulation and more.

Excellent! I hope there's an interview with the person who designed the ST case.

  4. Thanks for sharing here @PowerDubs .Saw this on Reddit while I was on lunch today at work. It's amazing how many people on the Reddit roguelikes area are upset about this. They're flat out calling Atari "scummy". Why?

     https://www.reddit.com/r/roguelikes/comments/19akg8f/atari_filed_trademark_for_rogue/

For me Rogue and Atari go together like peanut butter & chocolate.A perfect match. Rogue was one of the first games I purchased for my then new 520ST computer.

It will always be special to me for that reason. Atari getting Epyx catalog! Great news if they publish some remakes or sequels.

The Video Game Critic has a pretty good collection of Lynx reviews.

Go to the link below and then hit the rightmost column header to rank games graded from A to F.

         https://videogamecritic.com/lynx.htm?e=51796

This is a decent start. But I still scratch my head at his F- grade for Slime World. I had so much fun exploring the levels in that game.

Klax, Klax, Klax, and Klax. And Klax! It blew me away in 1990 and still blows me away today.

100% THIS!  That intro music! So good. If you like puzzle games get it.

Check out Rygar, a personal favorite of mine. Smooth scrolling hack&slash game.

I usually get keys by buying bundles.  Mostly from the "Humble Bundle" website.  I typically slide the amount so that I am giving the maximum amount to charity.  Sometimes the bundles include games I already have, so I periodically take inventory of extras that I have.

You can buy a pretty great bundle right now:  Awesome Games Done Quick 2024 (pay what you want and help charity) (humblebundle.com)

Wow That's great! After the 12 days on that bundle will a new one come out? Thanks so much for sharing this! I love that some of the money goes to help people.
