    https://www.adafruit.com/products/1995 Just got a Pi3 yesterday. Spent day 1 installing Rapbian and messing with the gui. Day 2 I moved my Pi3 setup closer to my router, wifi was to weak to get online and install Hatari. But once I did I had a blast messing around with it. Downloaded a few D-bug .msa disks. im loving it so far. Osgeld has me a little nervous about it now. But all seems fine so far. Btw this is the power supply I ordered. Works great.

    Wow! Its beautiful! Nice piece of kit. So your ordered a Pi too? Cool! I got mine yesterday. Easy setup. Wifi worked great, once I moved it closer to my router. Day 1 was just poking around Rasbian trying the gui out. Fun stuff. Day2 intalled Hatari , this took alot longer. No big deal. Loaded a couple .msa disks from D-bug. all in all I love it. Best $35 I spent in a long time.

    So jealous. While I had an Amiga 600 for years. And then an Amiga 3000 for a short time that was lost in a move. Long story, dont ask . The Amiga 1200 was the real deal, and the one system that got away from me. I wanted one soooo bad. Enjoy it! If your every interested in a trade for some Atari/Sega stuff look me up.

    I already have a wired 360 controller. So thanks for the links. The Pi3 will be in my hands tomorrow. So excited.

    My Pi3 should bein my hands tomorrow after work. Its been a very long week. Im excted to try Hatari on it. I'm alot more comfortable with steem. But we'll see how it goes.

    I did it. The Pi3 is on its way. I just copyed NOOBS to a 16GB SD card. And gathered everything I need, except a usb mouse. Now I just have to play the waiting game. I'm reading through the first 30 issues of Magpi magazine. Which are all free to read online! Any tips for me ?

    I think I'll just get a Pi3. I have everything I need lying around the house to get me up and going quickly. I'm in no rush., warmer weather is around the corner, and I really need to get outside. So yes $35 raspberry pi 3 sounds like the right option for me. Atari ST and Mame and maybe colecovision are the top 3 I'd like to run.

    Soooooo FPGA or EMULATION? It's all dependent on the system you want to run? Right?? Guys? Soo I should just stick with STeem onmy win7 machine?

    I wish they'd port an enhanced/deluxe Genesis Collection to the 3DS. Porttable Shining in the Darkness and KidChameleon.

    Omg ! After reading this thread for nearly a month I made it to the end! What a ride. I would be happy with a Super Colecovision! With sequels to all my favorite games. The Colecovision was my first next next generation system and I loved it to death. Full backwards compatible is a must too. Someone please make it happen.

    I played Mario 3d land. So no I didn't get to the Zelda game yet.A link to the past is my favorite Zelda game. So I'm really looking forward to this one. I saw the Tomodachi game in the store. But I have no idea what it all about. What's the highlight on that one? Starfox 64 was $40!!! Can you guys believe that? I guess it's out of print or something.

    I spent a few hours transfering my DSi stuff over to the 2DS, creating a mii character and just messing around the interace. Next I loaded up Mario64 DS, ahhhh much better with the disc like analog controller even if the game only reads it as digital. Next I played Super Mario 3D Land. Did not disappoint me at all. Excellent game. Now I'm in the online store downloading demos. Mario Golf and The Keep. Fun times. Haven't been this excitd since I got my fat DS and Mario64 DS , like what 10 years ago!!

    I did it! I finally joined the 3DS/2DS generation. Thanks for the feedback guys.Feels good in my hands. Which do I play first? I'm thinking in this order: Pilotwings Mario Zelda I think I'll check out the ds online store first. Very early 50th birthday present!! Never to Old for Nintendo handhelds!

    I remember this game being better when I was a kid. PacMan feels like he's sliding on ice. I guess the blue background is fitting. My crappy score 1,937

    Thanks for all the feedback guys. I guess I'll just have to hold both myself and see which one I prefer. It might be a while. But I will reply back with my personal findings.

    Recommendation time guys. An adult male who owns a DSi and thinking it's time to ugrade. Keep in consideration the 3D mode doesn't do anything for me, I can't stand it. Just whats better for Large adult hands. Do I get a 2DS or a 3DS XL?
