I love that magazine!!! Too bad my local newsstand only gets 3 or 4 copys for each issue.. I've missed like 2 or 3 isssue's becasue I didn't get there fast enough. and the AA article in issue 12 ( i think) was great! We're still get 8-bit and ST system area's, right? hehehehe

The game looks great! Now all I gotta do is buy a Jag! And a Jag CD and Protector SE..... I have some games stored in the basement I bought last year but still no Jag! Finding one in the "wild" is nearly impossible! ohh how much will Reversi cost? And i will need Songbird's Protector SE cart to play it, right? Thanks Still looking for WMAUG people...

Ohhhh and the other's I played alot: Starglider Populous And i know it's not a game but i spent alot of time with Degas.

I had tons of fun with Oids.. too bad I bought Dungeon Master the same day or I might have found out it was so much fun alot sooner...

You got lucky huh, under $300? What monitor do most Falcon user's use? ST monitor, VGA or hooked up to a TV?

Nevermind... I must have copyed over the real lynxboot.img with a false copy when I installed the newer version of handy. duh!!!

I did the pictures of the " L-Gage" and then transfred them to my real n-gage for a snapshot. Albert did all the text... I liked the little joke... some thought it was stupid.. It was more wishfull thinking on my part... A lynx emulator on the n-gage would be great!!

So what your saying is the TT is less compatible then the Falcon playing ST games? I don't think the kid that has the 1040 I was talking about wants to sell it now!! It was mine to begain with, but i got bored with it last year and gave it to him..my fault i guess! I think he saw my excitement about buying it and decided he might have a good thing! Now he's asking me how to copy disk images from the net to disk from the pc. He noticed i had a couple of game with nice color printout's on the disk.. hey.. I had to play Dungeon Master again!! hahaha to much coffee must go now... still looking for old WMAUG people!

I'm trying to find screenshots of a game by Electronic Arts.. I think... I played this soooo long ago back when i owned my 800xl and 1050 drive. But anyways i was think about the "old" day and the games i played on it. And Realms of Impossibility came to mind... I remember the name but not what the game looked like!!! all the sprite and sound demo's work... but for some reason the poke game doesn't work.. i just get a black screen in Handy version0.90... i get an error message about the lynxrom.img being the wrong one.... i could have sworn i play calgames on it a few months ago...

Ok maybe the Falcons not a good idea for me. What's the most powerfull ST system that's good at running most ST software? How about hard drive's? If I buy the 1040 ST from my friend how hard would it be to find one? Thanks for the help guys....

How compatible is the Falcon with most ST software? Also can you help me find a web site with lots of Falcon info? I figure if I'm gonna get a used ST i might as well get the best/last one released. Are there any hardcore Falcon user's here? Thanks again.

What's a fair price to pay for a working 1040 ST system? The one I'm looking at has: 1040ST Atari (not sure of model number)Color monitor and a box full of about 50 disks. One other thing, why is the 8-bit forum more active then the ST one? thanks.. Any former WMAUG (Western Mass Atari User Group) members on here? I'm not really all that excited about any of the FPS coming out on the n-gage. Sega's massive online game sounds like it might be fun! I don't think i'd be willing to spend more $$$ for the arena. All the games I have are good...I've been playing Tomb Raider a little more now that I found my way out of the Lost Vally level. I got lucky! I went into a mom and pop type video game store a couple years ago and asked them if they had any old atari games in the back. He said he tought so, and went into the back of the store. I waited a few min's, boy was i wicked surprised when he came out with a 1040 under his arm's... he said i got this and a monitor for it and a box of disks and a mouse too. I said how much...well anyways i paid $30 for everything! Funny this is I paid over $1,000 for a 520 and a single sided drive when the ST line first came out in the fall of 85.!!!! Them days rocked! As much as i liked my 800xl... i just did so much more on the st! Drawing in degas, going on local BBS's<<<-- taht was a big one... i was online sooo long ago....plus it was my fiest computer that used a mouse! And much latter is was the fist computer i got a hard disk drive for! Atari user meetings here in western mass we're great too! I remember seeing neodesk for the first time! the guys that made it show it off us! too much atari ST excitement!!! i gotta go!

I just got off the phone with one of the guys at my local Gamestop store and he said they will not carry used n-gage games. Just not worth it to them. But the good news is they will carry any new games that come out in the future and they will have the new n-gage QD! I'm getting one! So It's very funny that gamestop online has used copy's of sega rally listed before the game is even released! I wish they had a better release date listed then 2004! Come'on at least give us the month!
