I just took a quick look through this almost 20(!) year-old thread, and had to laugh out loud at ZylonBane's snark.

Yup, same here. Maybe I'll at least learn something new out of this thread. So Jaguar games only had 128 bytes to save? Compared to a PS1 card that has 128,000 bytes. Am I correct?

If that's true I can understand why Theme Park save system was so weak.

  2. I'll open the board with my 14,425 score in MC3D. My first time playing this, ever! I can only go up from here!

I can't submit a score for Rick Dangerous as it runs way to fast in BigPEmu..

@Rick Dangerous New updated score for MC-3D from me:... 24,725 .. reading some of the manual helped. :)

My disadvantaged run with Rick D in BigPEmu is: 3,260  up to you if it should be included or not... I just watched a video on youtube..So slow!  It runs way to fast in BigPEmu.. It's way harder. LOL

I’d gladly take a new Mega SG shipped for trade too! It doesn’t have to be used. ?

  4. Wanted: new unopened Xbox Series X system.

I'll do local pickup only at a police station we agree on. 01001 zip, I'm willing to travel up to 50-90 miles for pickup.

I have cash, willing to pay up to $600 OR gamecube, dreamcast games and cash.

    Thanks

  5. So I just set up my XEGS for the first time in a few years. Messed around with basic for about 10 minutes and then played two games for around 20 to 30 minutes. I went back to basic and every minute of two it would lock up on me. Resets didn’t do a thing I had to shut it off and turn it back on. Is this a power supply issue or something worse?

See attached picture for power supply I’m currently using.

And if it’s the power supply, well the funny thing is I almost ordered a new one from the Brewing Academy when placing my order for the ultimate cartridge.

Thanks for any advice. I’ve been out of the 8-bit world for a long time.

  6. This is really reaching, as no one reads this forum, but I figured I'd try my luck.

Back in the early 90s I owned an Amiga 600 that I foolishly sold or traded for a Atari Jaguar

with a handful of games. This transaction took place in Westfield Ma in maybe 1993.

It would be awesome if I could get my old A600 back. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

  7. Its really happening! Im so excited for this game on Xbox. I was really bummed out when this didnt launch on Xbox almost two years ago. Rumors are its coming out last day of June .

    Ill post more details later.

  8. I've played most of the campaign and alot of mutiplayer. I don't understand all the hate. Maybe its alot different now then it was on launch day. The game has it all.Lots of maps. A full campaign. An arcade mode with solo and split screen! I get that its a grind to unlock heros and loot boxes for cards. But doesnt bother me. Feels more like Battlefield games then COD ! Big plus in my book!

Btw: feel free to join me anytime guys. For mutiplayer.

  9. My package came all the way from Germany!! This person did their research. And hit the nail on the head perfectly! Nice surprise in the wife too! She loves heart shaped things ! Ive seen her scan the beaches here in New England for hours trying to find the perfect heart shaped rock!! Love it!

The 7800 controller will get a ton of use. The grandson and I love playing super pacman !

And the space patrol series looks very interesting! Were both excited to watch it. Its going to be our new year eve binge watch ! Oh and the wallet! Love that too! So cool Im afraid to use it. Dont want to wear the wood grain off it. And all that yummy candy! Thanks again ! Merry Chirstmas!

PS I read the letter first ! LOL!!!
