  1. It's the discord associated with this group. I think the link to join is in there: https://junkerhq.net/240p/
  2. Looks like the very beginning alpha work is starting on the Jag 240p Test Suite. Maybe if you're a dev with Jag knowledge, you can join their discord? These tools help both software and hardware developers.
  3. Does anyone know if some kind of test software exists for the Jaguar? If not, would any of the awesome dev's here be able to help? The tools we're most looking for are (in this order): - All white screen at 100% brightness. - 100% color bar screen - This would accomplish the exact same thing as all white screen when testing voltage, but could also help with color checking. - Sound test where you can select Left, Right and Center to test the audio output. In a perfect world, we'd have the 240p Test Suite, as well as MDFourier ported to every console in existence, but that's a lot of work. I was hoping someone hear knew of basic tools like they that already existed...or maybe someone would be gracious enough to just write a single ROM with either the 100% white screen, or 100% color bars. I'll be happy to host the file if needed and would gladly write a post to promote it. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.
  4. Has anyone tried these?: https://www.ebay.com/itm/202565018172 I have the aftermarket replacements from a few years ago that were decent, but they're no longer made. I figured if there were any good alternatives available, here would be the place to ask!
  5. Just updated that too. It was never intentionally omitted...I remember writing the posts promoting your kickstarter and thinking I'd add it after it went on sale to the public, but then every time I went to the site, it was out of stock. LOL, it still shows out of stock though...
  6. Thanks so much for the update Clint. Message me if there's anything I can do to help, or anyone I can put you in touch with.
  7. This is absolutely incredible. I'm so excited to see where this project leads.
  8. AMAZING work! Will there be a beta ROM available for people who'd like to test? Apologies if this was already answered and I missed it.
  9. Hey Nick, looks cool! Have you tried making some kind of spinner controller for the Playstation version of Tempest? I know it's the inferior version, I was just curious.
  10. I can't speak for the other guys on the Roundtable, but personally I would love to see this project funded. More importantly, actions speak louder than words: The news section of my site has covered the project multiple times and each post gets talked about in the weekly podcast which gets thousands of views/listens per week. Maybe rather than get upset, just reach out directly? Anyone that's worked with me before will vouch for me. I'm not subscribed to this topic and I don't have time to follow it (no offence meant, just swamped), so if anyone needs me, contact me directly.
  11. This looks awesome. Will you be releasing a demo file to try?
  12. LOL, hey, don't forget about me!: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNG-S9dRk8vIcNehGtsd2eyp4WqkxGCc- ...and for people who prefer the more technical side of things, The Retro Roundtable is great. I'm actually part of that one too, but the other guys are the stars of that show: https://www.youtube.com/theretroroundtable
  13. Packages get stuck there all the time, sometimes for weeks. Then, one day, they just magically appear at your door. It's annoying, but there's nothing you can do.
  14. Are the controller and cartridge adapters still planned to be sold?
  15. So, you're calling someone an "uptight frenchie" and claiming he wanted a soapbox because he wrote a blog post filled with facts? Right. Gotcha.
  16. I just posted a review for anyone interested. I like it!
  17. Is that something that can be added as a menu option?
  18. There used to be a VB SD-based flash cart in progress, but the guy making it cancelled the project. I imagine if someone made an SD version that supported savegames and homebrew, people would definitely buy it.
  19. What you're asking for is already in the works and will use a SNES controller: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=56870
  20. There's actually a patch for Checkered Flag that greatly improves the TERRIBLE controls in it. THAT'S the stuff the makes me the most excited about ROM carts! I borrowed a Skunkboard once, but didn't know about the patch at the time. I'm looking forward to trying it on real hardware when this is released: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/179195-checkered-flag-controls/?do=findComment&comment=2240397
  21. So, just to be clear: Rather then deal with altering the code for all the cores to support the rare Famicom controllers with the number pads, you created the PS2 adapter that people can make themsleves, or soon buy. This will allow people to use standard NES controllers to play all the games from each core and any time a number press is required, they can just hit the button on the keyboard. Did I get that right? Seems like the perfect solution to me. ...also, I think you forgot to update the 1st post with this latest firmware
  22. Someone else had that problem. They emailed Analogue support, who sent them a new PSU.
  23. Can we move the S-Video talk to a different topic?
  24. So, this would work with both Atari 8-bit computers and the Atari 5200? I'm definitely interested.
