Plus SFT have alluded to another run of Zaku if enough interest is displayed

It was about '92 I think... the last LYNX (1) in stock at my local Tandy's store (Australia's equivalent of Radio Shack) was display stock so the sales guy threw in a game to seal the deal - Gates of Zendocon. When I got home I found an APB pack-in title as well! Woohoo... man, it blew away the old gameboy... and ate through a hell of a lot of batteries. I would write down all the Zendocon level codes as I progressed through the game, then when the batteries died I'd put them in the sun for a half hour, pop them back in and grab an extra 15 minutes of game time...

Nah, that's not right, I ordered Super Off Raod and Desert Strike just a few months ago and they came in LYNX boxes with photocopied instructions.

Just got an email from Super Fighter Team about the latest preorder - Nightmare Busters for SNES. At the bottom of the email it said this: "What's next from Super Fighter Team? Sango Fighter III: Cao Cao's Revenge? A fully immersive, head-mounted 3d Super A'can console? A belated third production run of Zaku for the Atari Lynx followed confusingly by an all-new, all-original RPG for the Watara Supervision?? (Boy, you are terrible at guessing games.) Only time will tell, so stay tuned!!* * - But seriously though, keep writing in about Zaku. ;-)" I think we should all just shoot them off an email and show SFT exactly how many people are on board for another run.

Also putting my hands up for whenever they become available - I'll probably grab 2 when they become freely available as well, but would be happy with 1 for now if that's all I can get

Just thought I'd post a follow up to my initial post. I did the recap but decided to install the McWill LYNX mod into the LYNX instead - I did try the old screen just to see if the cap job helped but it didn't appear to (the old screen has had it, I reckon)... An interesting side note to all this is that I modded 2 lynx at the same time - one with the recap job and one without - and it turns out that the recapped lynx has a slightly brighter screen. The 2nd lynx that I modded was one that I bought, brand new, back in the early 90's - it went into storage after about 1999, only to be opened up last weekend, and guess what? No video!!! So I thought I'd try the McWill screen in it without recapping as an experiment - works perfectly, just not quite as bright as the recapped lynx...

Why don't Rebel and Cammy get together if you're both on the Gold Coast? Good to see some Queensland enthusiasm!!!

A mascot platformer would be cool... Nintendo has a plumber... Sega a hedgehog... Can the Lynx not have a comic style Lynx cat cartoon character??? Seems a no-brainer.
