    Finally got the mono verison of Are You Experienced? I was sure it would stomp the stereo version but it doesn't. It actually sounds like someone threw a blanket over my speakers.

      There are some standards with like 10 channels of surround sound, so it's like you're sitting in the middle of the musicians. That'd be cool to hear.

      Apparently Jimi approved both the mono and the stereo. Its just that, for some reason, the mono sounds really muffled. The Beatles, Kinks, Small Faces monos are fantastic btw.
