    Are the 5200 conversions of these games identical to the computer versions?

    Finally got the mono verison of Are You Experienced? I was sure it would stomp the stereo version but it doesn't. It actually sounds like someone threw a blanket over my speakers.

      A mono record can be mixed to sound great even though it's mono. Pet Sounds was mixed in mono and is fantastic.

      lol I remember hearing AYE on MTV back in the day when they were "in stereo".. and for some reason all you could hear was the hard left side which had no guitar, just the monotonous piano chord. It sounded horrible (try it yourself and see). If that was anyone's first "experience" hearing him, I can't imagine they would have thought it was any good.

       

      Huge Jimi fan here btw. More than most would expect :)

    The standard controller is also modified with a new rubber boot and gold contacts. After I took the photo I found a second Y cable. Everything is tested and works. Eighty four dollars for everything. Up until now I thought the Wico's were the best but the refurbished controller might possibly become my new favourite.

    An AA member named Marc Oberhauser makes them. He has an online shop but it has been down for quite a while. I have no experience with this gentleman or his services.

    I am very interested in RGB for the 5200 but only on a crt through component. I am naive about the whole process but my question is this: Is is possible to extract the rgb signal from the 5200 is such a way that a HD Retrovision cable could be used to convert and pass the signal directly to my tv?

    I'm at a $150 for two controllers, one keypad, and one Y cable. Gotta admit that I absolutely love those Wicos and my 9 years old god daughter feels the same way. She is a wiz at Frogger.
