I'm looking forward to seeing that more than Episode IX!

Oh boy. I guess I need to listen to this, but as much as I liked his teardowns of the prequels, I really like TLJ and don't know if I can bear any more internet nerd hate of this thing I liked.

he did say ANAL SYS right up front though, that's something.

  3. Their panel at Too Many Games consisted of 45 minutes of talking about bodily functions. No exaggeration.
  4. They also do a live recreation of said game. God help us all. The game in question starts at 15:41
  5. The game's main inspiration is LIMBO so this will not be a typical Mario style platformer but rather an adventure/puzzle game with platforming elements.
  6. I'm a Xeno Crisis backer and in the latest update it is mentioned that Tanglewood will be released on August 14th.
  7. Apparently Chris has been around for quite a few years but I only heard about him/her a couple of months ago when youtube recommended a video about him/her. I watched it, was amused, and then promptly forgot about him/her. A couple of weeks ago I decided to check youtube for TMG videos and that is when I discovered the entire breakdown incident. I then decided to include it in my post about the con just to see if anyone else knew what what I was talking about. It's not that you are not hip for not knowing Chris, it is just that you have a life outside the internet. However if you wish to go down the Chris Chan rabbit hole you will find no shortage of information to keep you amused.
  8. I only recently learned of Chris through a video by Pewdiepie. Apparently Chris is the creator of a comic called Sonic Chu, a sort of Sonic/Pikachu Hybrid. Also Chris tried to find love on the 'net and found himself trolled in the some of the cruelest ways imaginable. Eventually Chris declared himself to be a woman who is also a lesbian. Well it seems that Chris held a fund raiser to go to TMG where she was told to leave by security after complaints of her being too affectionate with her fans. After being told to leave Chris collapsed on the floor until the police arrived.
  9. I didn't get there on Sat. until 5pm. It was date night with the wife. We went to Wood's panel because my wife thinks he is hot and that is the only reason she needs. While we were waiting to get into the panel, Wood came and stood in line with us and chatted for about twenty minutes. Nice guy although I only know him through the Game Chasers. We then stayed for Billy and Jay but their panel consisted mostly of talking about bodily functions. I was sad that the Nerdlesque show did not return as it was quite the pleasant surprise last year. I understand what you mean about TMG losing it's "magic" and, honestly, I was ready to throw in the towel after last year's show but I am glad I did not. This year was full of good vibes and some very interesting vendors and home brewers. Unfortunately I missed the (in)famous Chris(tine) Chan have his/her public breakdown. Finally, I did not see anyone wearing an Intellivision Revolution shirt.
  10. We got into a car/Away we started rolling/I sais, "How much you pay for this?"/She said, "Nothing man it's stolen!"

I did not think of it until after the wedding but I really would have loved this as my wedding song.

  11. I guess I should quote you if I expect a reply!
  12. I went all 3 days. Had a great time. I missed the CU Podcast but I was at Pat's Punk panel and also the Game Chasers as well. Did you go?
  13. What a waste. Forty five minutes one way, $25 entrance fee plus $9 in tolls. I hate to bag on up and coming cons but this one was a fail. The vendors were mostly selling video game related art with very few game vendors among them. In addition there was plenty of unsold vendor space. The arcade was OK. I played Pac Man Jr. on a monitor where the image undulated like a mirage. Still made it to the fourth maze in my first game in 30 years. Anyway a major disappointment and would be hard pressed to recommend even if you lived in Cherry Hill and had free tickets.
  14. Today and tomorrow in Cherry Hill, NJ. Went 2 years ago and it was a little hole in the wall con and not worth the hour drive. This year the location has changed to a bigger, and more con friendly, hotel so potentially the NJGC is growing as well.
  15. I purchased a t shirt. Guess I should also purchase a game.

I like that when Rich inevitably mangles the english language they just incorporate it into the script. "Popcorns? Popcorn is plural already."

  19. The Digital Press is less than 2 hours away. Time to plan a road trip!
  20. The guys from retrowaretv.com host the Retroworld Expo in Hartford, CT. A 5 hour drive for me so, unfortunately, I won't be there.
  21. New Jersey Gamer Convention on July 7-8. I went 2 years ago and it was a very small con. Now it has been moved to the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill. I went to Monster Mania at the same venue years ago and it is a much better place to hold a con. A Video Game Con at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ on September 15-16. I have never been to this Kickstarter funded convention. Seeing that it is now being held at a proper convention center I will be attending this year.
