  1. Just started listening and am loving the podcast Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. THAT'S IT! I'm dumb .... I knew you all would come through! thanks
  3. I just had my Jag repaired (the usual cap and two chip replacement from wrong AC adapter deal). I only have one game, Cybermorph. The jag screen loads and sounds fine but when I put in Cybermorph I cannot hear the voice for the green gal. I think I can hear everything else though. Why no voice only? That seems so strange. I mean, it's nice not to hear her voice but (lol) for the authentic experience her voice should be there - setting? I'm connected RF direct and tried different TV's and different RF switches, all with the same problem - sound but no voice in cybermorph. Any ideas?
  4. thank you - i'll give it a shot
  5. silence must mean everyone else is as clueless as I
  6. Hello O2 fans. I bought my O2 version 1 (with detachable joysticks and a strange video connection that uses the "white box") with a bunch of boxed games for cheap and assumed the console didn't work (due to the price) and was right, sort-of. System powers up but the screen looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiRX3ydaBvc Without knowing exactly what the problem was I tried the following in the following order: 1) tried another game 2) tried channel 4 3) cleaned the board pins as best I could 4) replaced the video cable and "white box" with a RF cable 5) attempted the composite conversion found here: after the composite attempt, while running composite when I power the system the screen flashes but is then black. When I reconnect the RF system and power on via RF video out I can still get the same screen as shown above in my youtube video (which to me means my composite attempt at least hasn't caused any additional damage) While reading through the forums here I haven't seem a lot of answers for similar O2 issues but thought I would throw it out there anyways just in case... any ideas?
  7. Got the RF shield off in reseated the memory chips and the console seem to work really well for about 30 minutes but then the green screen of death hit again so it's back to the drawing board, I suspect the memory chips
  8. there we go - thanks Retrogamer81081
  9. I keep thinking that BigO - perhaps I'll recheck those tabs and get back
  10. that's more than I've ever found - thank you. But scanning through the video I see he removed the board from the console but never removed the metal cover from the board? soooooo close... or did i miss it
  11. Can't seem to find information on taking a 5200 apart. I took the screws out of the bottom of the console and I can take the top off. Now I see the metal shield over the board and can't seem to remove it so I can get to the board even after I twist the little metal "ties" that keep it secure to the board. I haven't found any additional screws or anything else for that matter that might be keeping the metal cover attached to the board. Any help? Is it glued on? or am I missing something? I don't want to just keep yanking on it in case I break something.
