I've been wondering what a mechanical pong machine would have looked like.
Also this reminds me of those 1980's Blip handheld games.

I'll keep a label variant if it's in a game lot. But other than that, one working copy is good enough for me.

The strange thing is, my printing error breakout cartridge doesn't say what controller to use.

Hi. A while ago I bought a copy of Toy Commander for the dreamcast. When I tried to play it, it would freeze at the end of the No Cliche FMV. While attempting to play it a second time, I figured out that skiping the FMV would keep the game from freezing at that point. So I played the training mission, and nothing went wrong. Then I tried to play the first mission, only for the game to display a black screen with a blue box in the middle of it and some text on it when it tried to load it. I can't exit out of the screen, the only thing I could do at this point was move a cursor around with the d-pad and analog stick. I tried resurfacing the disc and it still did the same things. I don't know what's wrong.
Note: I would post pictures, but for some reason the images would look flipped on the preview screen.

Hi, I decided to play some games on my commodore 64 only for the computer to not output any kind of picture, not even a black screen, but the power LED turns on. I tried both composite and RF and neither had any picture.

Been playing Starmaster and Dodge 'Em with my Wico bat joystick that I bought yesterday.
-
When I first heard of Vanguard, I thought it was an original game by atari. It wasn't until a while after that I figured out it was an arcade game by SNK.

Mine was a 2600 jr. that I bought off ebay in 2012. It came with the system itself (of course), the power supply, an RF cable along with a female rca to male coaxial converter, 4 games, and a 3rd party joystick. It was one of the game systems that got me into retro games along with the NES.

I remember trying to play Sonic the Hedgehog with an atari joystick and it worked. Though the only reason why I tried that was because the genesis controller that came with my genesis had dirty contacts.

I've only played one EM game. (A Williams Blue Chip pinball machine.)
But I do like researching about these machines. It's fascinating to know how these companies managed to pull off these special effects before video arcade games came around.

These are some of my favorite C64 games.
Speed Buggy (aka Buggy Boy)
Shinobi
Wizard of Wor (The later version not the Max version)
Gridrunner
Kikstart
Spy Vs. Spy
Jumpman

Been playing Midnight Magic lately. Definitely a great pinball game for the Atari VCS.

I collect games to play them, but if I get a duplicate of a game I already have that is different variant, then I'll keep it.

Now I want to see supercharger games on 4-track, reel to reel, and maybe even cylinder records!
-
Out of curiosity, did you purchase one from the link above or was it another 3rd party PS available somewhere else?
It was a third party PS from somewhere else.
-
My new third-party PSU got delivered today, I tested it out and it works! Now I can finally play the games I bought for it. Thanks for the help!

Hi, yesterday I turned on my c64, only to have it display a black screen with a dim power LED, which then turns to a white screen. It does correctly boot up, but that rarely happens. Any help would be nice.

I think commando raid should have used the paddle controllers. I find it pretty hard to aim with the joystick in that game, so that extra precision would help.

Update I figured out how to hook up a c64 to a tv using a monitor cable. You plug the yellow and red cables into a y adapter, This way, both the chroma and luma signals are combined into one signal and plug, you plug the male end of the y adapter into the video port, and you plug the white cable into the white audio port. Now I have a good, color picture with no white noise.
Anyway, thanks for the help.

I've tried changing the channels in hopes of fine-tuning it, but nothing happened. Also, the RF signal went black and white again.
