Yep, at this point even my repros are not rare anymore (well, the boxes are), I made quite a lot of them since 2002 (which is when I came up with the idea).
Ah, gotcha! For a second I thought the seller made the repro himself and tried to pass it off as ultra rare. He probably thought he was sitting on a gold mine.

I have a double ender of Chuck norris and Artillary Duel:

I'm pretty sure the Halloween/TCM are just repros on old Xonox double ender carts that some guy made a few years back; correct?
Don't know. Still, I don't see a reason for buying a "repro" for hundreds of dollars. Though I probably should have done some research before hand.

I was looking on ebay for a 7800 joypad and this popped up in the related section!
He said in the description that it's a reissue, and that it's "Ultra rare L@@K". But seriously, why would anybody pay hundreds of dollers for a Xonox double ender?

Oh yeah I played the Fat Albert hack before.
The author made one post here :-

But hasn't been on AA for nearly 7 years. Drop Al a PM and ask if he already has permission to make up a cart.So he's a 1 post wonder?

Hi! As you probably know, I bought a pair of Super Stiks for my TI-99 they work fine except one of them is sensitive with the left switch. Even the slightest movement to the left will make the character move left. This can annoying, especially because sometimes the joystick will spring back a little to the left when I center it. What might be the problem and how hard is it to open and put back together one of these?
-
Since people have been posting topics about finding the good old 99'er in movies, I thought I'd post something similar. But this time, it's about a old television commercial for Quik about the Quik bunny playing Ti Invaders (Well, an animation of Ti invaders.) . He's even using a first party TI-99 joystick. What's odd is that they used sounds from Space Invaders for the atari 2600 instead of sounds from TI Invaders.
The commercial.

Side Note: I swear he's going to break the fire button on the joystick if he keeps hammering on the button like that! We all know how the first party joysticks are!

Cosmic Commuter. Ok, so I'm driving an Astrobus with a very small fuel tank picking up impatient commuters during a traffic jam...This is going to be a very long day!

Idea: Depending on how complex or simple the graphics in question are, only redraw what needs to be redrawn?
Well, the graphics are pretty simple with all objects only being one character. But there's going to be a ton of different types objects on the screen at once.

Hi! I'm working on a game in TI Basic that requires some of the stuff on the screen to scroll down without leaving behind a trail. Problem is, I don't know how to do that. I know it's possible because I've seen some other TI-basic game do it!
-
Well I got my Super Stiks in the mail today. and let just say I am very disappointed.
They don't work! Or atleast 1/2 of each one does not.
1 will fire while the other will not.
1 will move left and right and not up and down.
1 will move up and down but not left or right.
So needless to say i'm not happy.
I got mines this morning. I tested them with all the games in my TI-99 collection. (Which is only 4 games not counting the TI-basic games I have stored on cassette.)
For some reason they don't work right on Car wars, but they work just fine on Munch man, TI invaders, and hunt the wumpus.
So far, they seem to work.....Key word "seem".

I actually love THAT Pac-man. I find it challenging and very enjoyable to play. It usually gets a spin just about any time I fire up the Atari.

Yeah, the 2600 port of Pac-man always seems to make it's way into the cartridge slot of my atari jr. I personally like this version of Pac-man. Sure it's a cruddy port compared to the arcade version, but I still think it's not a bad game.

Which ones, the Super Stick or the Wico?
The Super stik.

The game is good, but can you please fix the enemy placement? When I enter the room with the green enemies, one of them keeps spawning on top of me.

Just bought me a pair on ebay too, new in box.
I bought mines yesterday. Hopefully it will be delivered next week so I can expand my Ti-99 collection.

It is actually a quite stable TI joystick. They were built to take the punishment of long use. I just bought a set from eBay because I didn't have a boxed set of them. I've used one of the sets I have now for something like 20 years. . .
Thanks! I wanted to make sure I'm buying a good joystick, mainly because there are very few alternatives. But now that I think about it, pretty much any joystick is better then the first-party Ti-99 joysticks!

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a ti-99 joystick called the "Super Stik". Are they any good?
-
I checked the inner plastic, it doesn't look broken.

Hi, I bought my CX-40 at a flea market a while ago, it used to work great, but now it has a problem where to move right, I have to move it farther then all of the other directions. Also, the right contact seems to have a "Sweet spot", if I don't move the joystick to that sweet spot on the right contact, it won't register. Odds are someone will know what's wrong with it.

Hi, I had a Ti-99 for a while now and I've been thinking about expanding it. Problem is, I don't see myself going out to buy a PEB along with the 32k memory expansion, a floppy disc controller, and an actual disc drive that will work with it. So are there any good PEB alternatives out there?

I turned my intellivision on and remembered that my intellivision has another weird picture problem. It's kinda hard to explain but I'll try my best.
Ok, so imagine two squares, one on the left side of the screen and the other square on the right. Then, imagine the square on the left moving towards the square on the right. Then, when both squares meet, a couple of seconds later, the screen flashes an image of the square on the left in the middle of moving towards the square on the right, that's the problem I'm having. And I don't know what's causing it.
Edit: I've had my Intellivision on for a while and the picture is still jittering.
-
I've witnessed this throughout the years across various CRT tv's and Atari/Intellivision systems. Jittery up and down movement usually settles itself after the system's been on for a while. Currently have a Panasonic 20" that exhibits this problem with my Intellivision. Never saw jittery left/right movement though.
Leave it on for a while? I might try that.

I tried hooking my intellivision up to another HDTV and the picture jittered left and right instead of up and down, Though I still don't know what the problem might be.

Vibrating Power Supply
in Odyssey 2 / Videopac
Posted
Ok, so I decided to hook up my good old Odyssey 2 to play some of the games I have for it. Well, While I was hooking it up to the tv, I remembered a weird thing that happens to the power supply when I plug it in, it starts vibrating. It doesn't matter if the Odyssey 2 is powered on or not, it would just vibrate until I unplug it. Is this normal? Should I be worried about this?
