  1. So my c64 got delivered, and it outputs in black and white, I tried opening it up and turning the screw near the VIC 2 chip and nothing happened. If anybody has an idea on how to fix the video problem, let me know. Also, the letter K has a line under it. Is that normal?
  2. I know those odd spelling errors anywhere! Edit: I took a look at the auction again and it turns out that she ended it....again.....big surprise.
  3. Hi, today I got an NTSC c64 breadbox/breadbin model. It probably wont be delivered until sometime next week. But in the meantime, what kind of good games are there for it? And also, what kind of PAL games will work with an NTSC c64?
  4. Just scored me a commodore 64.

Sweet! If I see one in the wild I will definitely snag it.

I was amazed yesterday, I was browsing ePay and actually saw ones that said "tested" somewhere for under $100. Also, good job on getting one - the C64 is a fun computer.

  5. Never have I seen someone this determined to scam people.
  6. Rosa is reminding me more and more of natalie with these messages she keeps sending.
  7. This guy must be very determined to sell his lazily painted atari cartridges with PVC pipes glued on top of them.
  8. Ugh! I think I caught a cold!

Eat plenty of hot foods/liquids, pop Vitamin C and chug Alka Seltzer Plus Cold. And maybe Nyquil at night.

  9. My beats earbuds just broke, I don't think i even had them for a month and I treated them with care. This goes to show that the more expensive pair isn't always the best.

I was surprised by how good the $6 Panasonic earbuds sound.

It doesn't, not with modern lighting. And "they" can't cite farming and maximizing daylight anymore with jobs around the clock in many industries.

Some old fart in the "establishment" wants it that way, so that's why it is what it is.

It was never about farming. Farmers don't work according to a clock. They are up before dawn and often work after dark no matter what the clock says.

We have had a ton of rain int he past two weeks--over 20"!

  13. It looks like a coleco gemini y adaptor. Coleco gemini controllers are both a joystick and paddle controller. The official paddle controllers are one pair of two controllers that share one plug, so for 4 player paddle games, coleco made the y adaptor. Also, you need the y adaptor in order for the paddle on the gemini controller to work right. Hope this helps!
  14. Just watched the video. I heard "good."
  15. I really didn't know that there was a spammer/bot outbreak until someone talked about it in the status update section.
  16. Scored me an amiibo retro 3 pack today.

  17. Here's to a good fall. Hopefully the temperature will be just right for visiting the flea market.

  18. I have a dreamcast, but i only have one game for it. Though there are quite a few dreamcast games that catch my eye.
  19. I'm making progress with that intellivision video problem! From my experimenting I figured out that it's an rf cable problem. Hopefully I'll eventually be able to play intellivision with no video problems!

  20. I have 33 2600 games. (34 if you count the extra asteroids cart.) I don't go too out of my way to get more games and most of the time, I do just fine with the games I currently own.

    Collection pictures.

This is where pictures of my collection go.
  22. From the album: Collection pictures.

This is my collection of 2600 games. As you can see it's kinda small.
  23. My daily driver is the 2600 jr. I play alot of games on it and it never broke. Though if I just so happen to have the 7800 hooked up, I'll play my games on that...well, that is until I want to play an imagic or activision game.
  24. This reminds me of the time I tried to complete "The New Zealand Story" on taito legends. I was pretty far in the game until I accidentally pressed R2 (Or at least I think it was R2), which was mapped to restart the game. I haven't ever tried to complete The New Zealand Story since.
  25. The sound in quadrun for when you get a game over and the sound in California games for when you preform a table top stunt in the BMX mini game.
