If anybody's local Gamestop still carries the Disc Skip Fixer fluid, maybe get a bottle or two for me? It's being clearanced out & my stores have long since stopped carrying it. I'd love to stock up a bit!

  did you also use the Disc Doctor thing where you had to spin the handle? That thing seemed to ruin discs, but if there's a better way to fix CDs and DVDs I'm all ears

  Oh goodness no, Disc doctors leave terrible marks! This stuff is just a bottle of fluid you use to buff out minor scratches by hand. Not restoring anything to brand-new condition with it, but I've saved many a skipping/nonloading disc... and no weird marks!
