    The big tree in my yard fell over yesterday and completely missed my house, fence and telephone wires! LUCKY! Spent much of today sawing/chopping it up. Anyone need firewood?

      That happened to us one December- got the power lines, but missed the house by inches and fell in-between the cars in the driveway. Power company fixed the lines within a few hours. Found a strange lady poking around our yard a couple hours later- when I went out, she popped up holding a pair of clippers and asked if she could get some greenery for Christmas wreaths. Told her sure, go nuts.

    This question probably has been asked over a hundred times, but I'm interested in capturing footage from my 2600. I've researched multiple methods such as splitters and using a VCR, but I am stumped on which to go with that will provide great video and audio as well. I also want to find a way to broadcast it on Twitch.

    So, I was in Gamestop yesterday and I witnessed this guy pick up the Antman Avengers electronic helmet (the one on display behind the counter) ... and drop it. Yes, it broke. Yes, they made him purchase it for $99.99.

    Did arcade games ever offer the chance to win money/tokens? Could that be a viable model today, or would that fall under regulation like slot machines? Also, what about bringing back classic cabinets but dispense tickets? (Saw some headline about Pong with that.)

      I wouldn't be surprised- a combination of changing interests in game style & difficulty using the original equipment means less people are interested in the older machines.

       

      Those who are tend to just want a few games as an example of pre-crash gaming, not as a serious platform. Can't talk someone into obscure rarities when Combat & Adventure cover their needs.

    Why do people buy Pepperidge Farms Goldfish when Cheese-its taste way better? Goldfish taste like oyster crackers with some cheese dust on them. What is your favorite snack?

      Cheeze-its are pretty salty compared to goldfish crackers. Cheese Nips have a stronger cheese flavor, but a tendency to be burnt. Better Cheddars are the best cheese-flavored cracker, but can be difficult to find.

    I was listening to Bat out of Hell today, and realized that I was in grade school when it came out, but I was engaged to be married and in graduate school when the sequel came out.

      The majority of the song is innuendos preceding "I would do anything for love", with "But I won't do that" having no context- BUT! The one verse sung as a duet has "I won't do that" as the reply to her suggesting someday he'll get bored and leave her.

       

      Basic gist: "I love you, I'll do anything if you'll sleep with me right now, and I'll never leave you."
