  1. To convert a basic program to a compiled executable you'd need a copy of the basic compiler program. It shouldn't matter what filename you give when saving your basic program to file. To run a basic program from the dos prompt, type the basic program command, space, the name of your basic program file, enter. Here's documentation on using microsoft basic. Gw-basic is the non ibm version of ibm basic, otherwise the same thing. http://www.antonis.de/qbebooks/gwbasman/
  2. The rom files are probably fine. Most likely it's the memory map cfg files that are missing. There's a set of cfg files here. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/203179-config-files-to-use-with-various-intellivision-titles/?p=3480601
  3. That's the full 48kB rom file. If you found it in an internet archive you'd also need the memory map in a cfg file. Create a text file with the following contents, give it the exact same name as the rom but with a .cfg extension. [mapping] $0000 - $1FFF = $5000 $2000 - $2FFF = $D000 [ecsbank] 0: $3000 - $3FFF = $E000 0: $4000 - $4FFF = $F000 1: $5000 - $5FFF = $F000
  4. Do you have the correct cfg file for World Series. Are you running the 48kB or 40kB rom.
  5. You can look at the file contents and see for yourself, but I think the exe is a compiled version of the basic program and isn't the doc file some sort of reference guide to using the program. Since you're not transferring these files and only retyping the contents of the bas file the other files wouldn't be used.
  6. I don't care so much about name calling, it just makes the person doing it look bad. I have fallen for some trolling, these things can be ignored. But suggesting someone has said or done things they haven't is a different kind of terrible. It's an attempt to silence someone through intimidation rather than addressing what was said. Sometimes I ignore it but that doesn't seem right. How can can I prove i didn't do or didn't say something. If you're referring to the fcc requirements for rf emissions, I'm not the one that copied and posted them from the fcc website. I don't think it necessarily contradicts what the experts here are saying. People here tend to argue things that aren't being argued.
  7. Everything? How can you you know what someone thinks about everything that's been said. Plus there are lots of things they said that I disagree with and said so here. What you wrote is simply not true. You might be misinformed but others here can't seem to function in a discussion forum without harassing.
  8. I was one of the people that questioned his claims, one of the first here. Harassment stops when people decide to stop harassing.
  9. If it has an Intellivision II exec, it couldn't have an INTV88 board since it only has place for a 28 pin rom chip and the Intellivision II exec rom is a forty pin chip.
  10. The floppy drive cost more than the computer.
  11. I'm not the one making the claim, but it would be interesting to know how difficult it would be to port a Wii project to an Arm based system. It would make sense to use a developer that has experience with that type of game. If the developer can build off of previous work I would expect them to. I'm just pointing out that at one time the Fig site was how they were taking international preorders. They didn't take in that many preorders. Back in 2020 They were telling everyone it wasn't necessary, that there'd be plenty of systems available when it releases. Looking at their numbers it seemed the company was just as well CEO and board funded until the revenue share investments came in. Harassment continues. Associating people with things they had nothing to do with.
  12. With the volume pricing, the ad is probably intended for resellers and system integrators. Hundreds of dollars for a small hard disk was the late 1980s, early 80s was much more expensive. In 1990, VGA graphics alone could have nearly doubled the price of a computer. Companies were still buying XT class PCs with hercules graphics. A 1.44MB floppy drive was still a luxury, so the brand new CD-ROM drive technology must have added hundreds of dollars.
  13. Why would they have an issue with linking the fig site. They were directing people there as a place for preorders.
  14. They couldn't have been that adamant against ports since they have several. And they talked about doing ports from the beginning when people asked about it after the initial presentation in 2018. It was referenced here because someone claimed most of their games are ports of old android games. You'd have to ask the developer if they were able to port over old Wii code. Otherwise they could replicate some of the things they did before.
  15. The first engineer working on the controller said it was done in 2019, hardware and firmware. Different engineers made changes after that. Developers talked about requesting features, changes of course introduce bugs to other games. It could be with all the existing games and changes being made they never got out of that cycle. We know they halted development on some games. Hard to say when it was ultimately resolved.
