  1. Hi Guys, The team and I would like to thank you all for your incredible support! You definitively helping us to renew the Amiga Classics parts, and that is no small achievement. For all further updates on the Amiga 500 campaign, please follow the "Update" link-menu on the campaign page, and you can also register to our newsletter; since all updates are published on there as well. Please remember that it is always better to ask your questions directly by sending an email using the contact form on www.a1200.net as I don't check all forums daily And we've just published our first Campaign Update since we reached the goal >> Have a look. Campaign is now under IndieGoGo -InDemand- mode, so that we can hopefully reach the Tank Mouse Replacement Shells Stretch Goal. Many thanks again to all of you for your tremendous support! Cheers!
  2. Hi Guys, The New Amiga 500 Case campaign is now at 85%, and we still have 3 days to make it! The team would love to see all Amigans still on the fence, committing now and helping this campaign to reach it's goal! More than 600+ Backers have supported the campaign already, and they need your help to get their cases. Thank you again for your support guys, let's make this happen! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/new-compatible-case-for-amiga-500-plus-computers#/ Cheers, Phil
  3. Thank you for your support guys! Two things will happen this week end: 1- Campaign will cross the $100K mark 2- A new LIVE STREAM by Sunday afternoon 5pm (Paris time) simultaneously on Youtube and Facebook. The campaign is still withing range to reach its goal, so all backers are welcome to join in so the team can get the molds done and all backers to get their cases Thank you for your support, even 1x Case can make a difference. Cheers, Phil
  4. Dear Amigans, After the initial batch of Amiga 1200 replacement cases, a second run (1000+ cases) was ordered by our Retail & Distributions partners Amiga on the Lake (for the North Americas), AmigaStore (for the European Union) and A-EON / AmigaKit (for the United Kingdom). These are in the colors "Amiga Technologies White", "CDTV Midnight Black" and "Translucent". Earlier this week we received notifications that the shipments for the UK and the European Union have been shipped and are on the high seas. For the North Americas the shipment is ready for the US Forwarder to collect such that they can be on their merry way soon as well. Meanwhile the production of the CD32 cases with our Case Manufacturing partner is well underway. Once completed, images will be sent to us such that we can share these with you. our Amiga Keycaps replacements manufacturing partner (different from the case manufacturer) is also well underway. We are aware of the fact that it took too long for our liking, but we are happy to see that this project is now at full steam and nearing completion as well. With the Amiga 500 case project underway, we will of course do another Amiga Keycaps replacement campaign with a lower fixed goal and a much faster turn-around time as the injection moldings creation is the most time consuming part. We will keep you posted and would like to ask your attention once more for our Amiga 500 Case Campaign.. we need your support to make it work! 5. - The campaign end date will be extended to end of May. So in fact we have a bit more than a month to go. Extension will be applied on Sunday 29th. On the other end, You guys who supported the campaign already should reach out to your friends and contact. Tell them you want your case, and they should support the campaign as well! - This way they'll help all backers to get their cases. - They'll help the Amiga community to get molds for A500 cases! Thank you again for your support guys, really appreciated. Cheers, Phil
  6. @Oracle_Jedi, ►Thanks a lot for your support! @All, It is important for Amigans and Atarians (who does possess Amiga as well) to understand that what we're doing is VERY important. We're working to get NEW MOLDS for the Amiga 500 cases. (Click the link to see what molds are..) These are very expensive piece of tools for the plastic injection industry. No company nor any individual will never invest so much fund into. There is no market and and the endeavor is too risky. We proved that we can deliver very high quality cases to the community. But the community need to support the projects for this to happen. - You're not simply "buying" a new case.. - You're helping the whole Amiga community by manufacturing these molds with us! That's most important thing to understand. Thank you for your support guys! PS: The New Amiga 500 cases now supports Raspberry Pi 2/3!
  7. ► NEW AMIGA 500 CASES ◄ You own an Amiga 500? > Renew your case and help to make this great opportunity become a reality. Support the campaign and help! Help Amigans to get new cases Help and support the Amiga 500 so that he gets his new case the same way the A1200 did! SUPPORT HERE
  8. I can understand what you mean. However and with all due respect, the way on how and why IGG staff runs their platform or why there were fraud on it, does not have anything to do with our projects. What concerns us is to manufacture molds for Amiga 500 case. That is way higher than any other consideration and I do expect you'll support the campaign because you support the Amiga and believe in what our team is doing. Thank you again James, Cheers, Phil
  9. Hi James, You put your trust in the Team -Not in the platform-. The platform does nothing else than displaying campaigns. That's it. Our team delivers and we've proven it. If you had issues with previous campaigns on IndieGoGo, Thats sad and I'm sorry to hear that. It just happen the same happens on Kickstarter. It has nothing to do with IndieGoGo! ► The confusion also comes from that Indiegogo has 2x modes of funding: - Fixed Funding - Flexible Funding - The team chose the Fixed Funding of course. It's an ALL-OR-NOTHING option. If we hit the goal, we get backers funds. If we don't, then backers gets to be automatically refunded. ► More on that here: https://support.indiegogo.com/hc/en-us/articles/205138007-Choose-Your-Funding-Type-Can-I-Keep-My-Money- ► To see what we've achieved so far: https://www.facebook.com/pg/a1200net/photos/?tab=albums You can see Amiga 1200 molds & cases sent toward backers! The team would be honored if you could support the campaign for the Amiga 500 cases as well, because all backers that did already supported are waiting for you to do the same. They want New Amiga 500 cases as much as the Team wants them. So all amigans have to reunite behind the Amiga, and pledge for these molds and then get new cases. Thank you again James, Hope my explanations makes sence
  10. Hi Guys, Over the weekend and after running its first week, The Campaign for New Amiga 500 Cases reached 1/3 of its goal. ► The campaign need support from ALL Amigans ! - Have a look and pledge on the rewards you'd like to get. Thank you again for your support, Cheers
  11. - NEWS UPDATE - ► NO MORE STRETCH GOAL ON EXTRA COLORS! ◄ (Removed) VISIT HERE Today the Team would like to share with you an awesome news. - No more Stretch goals for Extra Colors! - Here what happened, and why we had a Stretch Goal first hand: Producing very small QTY in any given color is costly, due to the color change fee that any manufacturer charge you with. Small QTY like the PINK A1200 cases for instance. – Reminder: A1200 case colors were chosen by Amigans through two polls the team ran back in the days. Following A1200 case production, our partner informed us he couldn't operate the A500 case production under the same condition we agreed on the A1200 cases. This led us to create the Color Stretch goal you saw at campaign launch. For each color change through production, there is a color change fee. These includes: Removing molds from Injection Cleaning of each molds & cleaning injection system Molds re-install, setup & calibration for next production These operations can take up to two days. The team has been in discussion with manufacturer since end of A1200 case production (for backers). Yesterday evening we ultimately found an understanding with our partner, and they agreed to proceed under the same conditions than production of the A1200 case, but this time for the A500 case. ALL COLORS AVAILABLE back within standard Campaign Goal. TANK MOUSE SHELLS Stretch Goal has been lowered accordingly! The team is very glad to share this awesome update with you guys Thank you for your support. Like for the A1200 cases, we need all Amigans on this to create new molds for Amiga 500 cases. Cheers, Phil
  12. Hi Guys, I'm Phil from the team A1200NET. First and on the name of the team I'd like to thank you for supporting our projects I'm here to answer the questions you might have. ► And I'll start with @sm3, You may actually have received an email about the latest campaign update we've published a couple days ago. If not, you can see part of its content below. The Extra badges and Extra floppy buttons, are extra freebies. I've decided to do these for all our backers outside the A1200 Case campaign funding, since I was not personally satisfied with those we've provided you. Hence my will to do better ones. But these have costs which I'm supporting. ► Here a couple details about the campaign and case features: The campaign will last 45 days. It can be expended to 60 days if necessary. You can pledge on multiple rewards - Just send a message after your first pledge and we'll get back to you. New run of Keycaps is planned - This will happen after all keycaps backers have received their rewards. Cases are Replica of Original A500 case Full support for Vampire accelerators New trapdoor on the rear Vented bottom trapdoor Metal brass inserts & screws Case Metal Badge Rubber Foot New Original A500 Color. New Tank Mouse Shells (Stretch Goal) Thank you for your support guys The team needs you to create these new Molds and cases, like we did for the A1200 Cases. And I'd like you to have a particular attention to SCOURGE OF THE UNDERKIND - Collector's Edition. Which is a Physical copy of the game, with a great package made by scanavo.com. Cheers, Phil
  13. Dear Amiga Fans, The Official Amiga 1200 case Kickstarter Campaign has smashed €105k! The campaign is running it's last 9 Days and it need all your support. New Official Amiga T-Shirt are available on the KS page so that you can contribute to the Amiga effort. Have a look on the KS campaign page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/a1200housing/new-amiga-1200-cases-made-from-new-molds Thanks for all your support!
  14. Hi Guys, The campaign is about to reach 70%, thanks to all of you! It still needs a small push, and we need all of you that did not supported the campaign yet. This campaign, by making new Amiga 1200 cases with all included benefits, is the first time in 20+ years that new housings are manufactured for the Amiga 1200. Hopefully this will also help the Amiga community to stop decaying, and maybe even by getting long lost Amiga users back to it and start the user base to grow again (with IC Reloaded motherboards). As you already probably know, we're currently working on making new Keycaps and new Keyboards as well. And we have a couple more hardware projects as well So if you haven't not contributed to the campaign yet on any reward and even if you don't need an Amiga 1200 case, you can always support it by getting the new Official Amiga Mugs ! As Amiga fans, your support is greatly appreciated. Support the campaign here: KICKSTARTER - New Amiga 1200 Cases
  15. Dear friends, We've updated our FB page as well as the KS page with latest news regarding where we're at for the keycaps and the internal A1200 keyboards. We need to delay these campaigns, as of now we haven't found any suitable solution regarding the overall manufacturing costs of the keycaps. As some of you may know, Amiga keycaps have a special "mount" made by Mitsumi back in the time. And mitsumi stopped manufacturing these a decade ago. As this kind of mounts are not manufactured anymore, this lead to build 8 types of diff keys molds! Why 8 types ? Because the Amiga line of computers have 5 diff profiles of keys (diff height), and there is also 3 special keys. So based on our last month work, a full Amiga keycaps set compatible with all Amiga computers (Except the A600 and some early A500,A2000) would cost around €141! And that is for a minimum of 1000 ordered sets. You can find more infos regarding this issue on our FB page or over the KS page. We still continue to work on that to find a better and less costly solution. Thanks for your support and share our efforts and KS page with all your contacts and friends Cheers, Team A1200.NET KS Page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/a1200housing/new-amiga-1200-cases-made-from-new-molds Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/a1200housings
