JagLink doesn't work (quite clearly stated in all descriptions) -- the UART is used on the cart.

A slight oversight, something I'll eventually remedy, but it will require a hardware change. ?

So are you planning to develop a new version of the JaguarGD to do this in the future? I'm guessing no chance of a physical upgrade for existing ones right?

The plan is to make enough stock so there isnt any waiting and making the whole "list" stuff redundant. I'm just about there with the NGP on that front (slight delay in shipping thanks to mr. COVID), and aim to keep it up. Now (going forward after this last lot of JagGD's anyway) sales are being handled externally it gives me WAAAY more time to do other things. One of those thigns is to make a decent volume of stock... :)

Well I for one really hope the plan works out. I am still incredibly excited about this release! Good luck with all the logistics!

No, no details will be passed on.

What if we wanted you to pass it along? I’m number 45 at this point I don’t want to get back online at the end of the queue! So, close...

In al seriousness are you still considering an option to allow us to move our order to another reseller and not lose our spot or is that off the table?

I can’t believe how exited I still am for the Jag Gamedrive!

  4. Not sure if this will help or not but one of the issues I’ve seen with prepping and cards on Macs is all the extra dot files the Mac leaves behind. I’ve had a number of flash carts and home brew devices choke if those files are there. My belief is the code uses to parse the fat file system can’t handle the existence of the dot files. Once I remove them via command line everything has worked okay.

  5. So I am trying to a restore an ADAM computer. I lacked the printer so I modified a PC PSU to power the system. I've ordered a new supply to dedicate just to the ADAM so this is a hold over. It was in unknown shape when I got it so I expected something to be wrong. After I powered it up all I got was a black screen and a tone. There is an intermittent sound like a startup sound sometimes but it just stays stuck.

I did a massive amount of digging on the forums and it sounds like the ADAM is very sensitive to power supply voltage drops. The -5v channel on my jury rigged one is only around -4.7-4.8 so I assumed this might be part of the issue. So, instead of just waiting for the new power supply to arrive I did a little more digging. The tech manual troubleshooting does point me toward the PSU being an issue but I wanted to confirm with the experts here if it might be something else. That way I could get started ordering parts etc. I've already ordered replacement caps so I can refurb the board but those are also in transit. Cap replacement is generally my next step but I'm unfamiliar with ADAM behavior so I'm looking for any particular anecdotes people can share. Even confirmation I'm barking up the right tree would be great.

    Thanks!

if you think there won't be a few small bugs that would be silly. the new updated cores will be downloadable and you can install that your self from the sd card.

girl's garden uses a ultra low res 64x48 mode for cuts scenes. maybe that was the cause.

just perhaps a bug reporting thread and anything like that can be corrected for the next core update.

I was only mention it being an issue just to share wasn't meant as a complaint. I am more than happy with the Phoenix. I spent the morning going through games testing as much as I could out and that was the only glitch. Sorry if my comment came across as snarky.
