  1. I love that the Owner's Book has the Owner's Book listed under parts you should find on page 3 of the Owner's Book with a handy picture of the Owner's Book cover in case you couldn't find it.
  2. Hard to say about the timeline. An LA Times article from 1997 makes it sound as if he arrived in 1991 although it could be read as his arrival and start of his work in video games were actually at 2 different times (arrival 89, start date 1991)... Enter Tallarico, who in 1991 was a struggling musician and avid video game fan. Hoping to crack into the recording industry, he left Springfield, Mass., and came to Southern California with $500, a bag of clothing and his keyboard stuffed into his beat-up Pontiac Fiero. A month later, he had no money and no job. “I was sleeping on the sand at Huntington Beach, eating whatever I could get for free,” Tallarico said. “It was getting pretty bad, then I landed a job selling keyboards at a music shop in Santa Ana.” So that could coincide with the pier being rebuilt by 1991 and him living there after 2 years of trying to get a foothold into the industry. The living on the beach aspect of the story appears to have been around since at least 1997 though, for what it's worth. Looks like it may have been a Pontiac down by the ocean
  3. Fire the system up and if you see the character font look like below, it's a TudorPro system... Flip the console over and if you can see through the back vents and are able to detect some jumper labels, it's a TudorPro system... Lots of folks here saying...
  4. The price is set by the potential destination so I have no idea. On my end it said $12.45. The final shipping to the winner wound up being only $7.95. I've long since given up on understanding USPS pricing quotes.
  5. Mine was $950 in 2019 but it's maybe an 8/10. Still I felt lucky so I get the whole "It's worth it to me" vibe. Totally agree there! To have one THAT mint is a real treasure too. You did well.
  6. Vanguard looks freakin' sweet! Having gatefold boxes is icing on the cake.

  10. What makes that a variant to me are the un-rounded white label cart and yellow paper overlays. Actual changes from the original release and even other II versions of Basketball, not a sticker that was randomly placed on some copies of the game. HOWEVER, I fully support others wanting to collect these as variants and will offer up any I happen to pick up in a lot. I'll let you guys know if I come across any.
  11. You're not wrong, lol Not only have I never considered the NEW stickers to count as variants, I have purposely sought out copies of those games that did NOT have them for my 125 collection. I don't have any particular issue with them, just that I prefer the boxes to have a clean look with nothing covered up. I also take no issue with people who choose to collect them as variants. Everyone has to define their collection for themselves.
  12. Yeah I think that's what I mean. But I know jack-all about cryptocurrency to be honest. I think 2000 in Dogecoin is about $127 in USD which I would happily pay!!!
  13. Anyone else getting a little concerned about the lack of updates on the PRGE site? Not a lot of activity other than the Tetris Championships coming back. I'm saying it now, even if the show somehow gets postponed another year I'm still going to be there. Flight and hotel are bought so I might as well make a weekend of it either way. Hopefully I'm concerned about nothing though.

  15. Oh that's exactly where it will live once it arrives ?
  16. That's just what I have though. It's not a comprehensive list. Someone needs to post that if it hasn't been already, lol
  17. It's actually already his. He found it at PRGE 2019 and sent it home with me to preserve and fix the label. I will be hand delivering it (really freakin late, lol) in Portland this year. I'd love to have the shielded P&BJ if you're sure you don't need it. Thanks Hank!
  18. ... especially while I'm still holding this hostage from him:
  19. I was just kidding anyway. Besides, I'm willing to bet Jason has a few of those aying around that I can kick out of him ?
