  1. Honestly, my hope is that the more valuable titles on that list are simply re-issued to save me the expense. I believe that's the only way I'm ever getting a copy of Smurf.
  2. I do miss those days! I should also add my missing homebrews to the elusive items I seem to miss out on all the time... 4-Tris Flintstones Keyboard Fun Ghostbusters Quo Vadis Same Game & Robots (I'm looking for the Intellivoice version) Smurf: Rescue in Gargemmel's Castle Space Cant (I'm looking for the Intellivoice version) Space Invaders Super Mine-Field By my count there are 159* current homebrews either released or announced and on order so only missing 9** is pretty amazing to me. *This number varies depending on what you consider to be a homebrew. 159 is my current definition, I'm not looking to debate this, no one person's count is correct or incorrect. **Meaning having at least one version of each title, ie: any one of the four versions of 4-Tris would check that title off for me. I'm not looking to get every variation.
  3. Hank, you have always been and continue to be... The Man!!! Message sent.
  4. The Learning Fun games were the last two I found to complete my 125. I have long been of the opinion that LF II is actually the rarest game as it comes up for auction in CIB form far less than Spiker does. Oddly, I have had the absolute worst luck finding a simple USA version of the PGA Golf manual in decent condition. They never seem to be in mint shape whereas all the rest of my gatefold games have nearly perfect manuals 🤷‍♂️
  5. My hope is that these were all damaged boxes and this was the best salvage job they could do. Doesn't look like it though. My assumption is that these were done decades ago before they had any real collectable value and someone just wanted to have all the same size boxes. One more reason why someone needs to do a run of gatefolds for all the post Mattel games that never had them. Would be an awesome way to store loose rare carts.
  6. It's so much worse than we thought! https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386045543 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386045331 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386045170 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386044850 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386044471 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386043694 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266386044091 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266384667428 https://www.ebay.com/itm/266384668223
  7. I don't know which one of you did this... https://www.ebay.com/itm/266382216772 ...but I can't tell if you're an evil genius or a straight up monster
  8. That's cool. I have a bunch of Mattel shells I can sacrifice at the alter of Intellivision Revolution as well
  9. I didn't think Coleco shells would be needed in Portland but I am happy to bring a decent amount if anyone wants/needs them 👍
  10. Do you need any more Coleco shells? I have a bunch I can send you.
  11. If he isn't available, I'd be happy to step in. But SJ is the master of box design so I hope he has something for you 👍
  12. That's the one I couldn't think of! Thanks Hank 👍
  13. Well if we get the same weather as last year I really can't blame him. If he shows up in a Speedo however... 😬
  14. William, Rev, Casey and myself have all pointed them out in this very thread. But if you need a direct example... ... this^ is what I have been talking about. Over and over again, the need to pretend William's interview is anything like the Amico fiasco. It falls somewhere between stubborn denial over getting called out for a ridiculous amount of hyperbole and tinfoil hat conspiracy nuttyness.
  15. If it's the 2 listings I'm thinking of, I believe the tape on each should come off decently well. That kind of clear tape with the strings running through it generally keeps from drying out too much over time. So if you start from the low end and SLOWLY peel up towards the box edge, you should be able to remove the bulk of it. Then it's just a dab of Goo Gone or Goof Off to remove the glue residue.
  16. It's not that people are shooing away or downplaying Amico talk. There are plenty of threads here on those exact topics. The issue here is folks projecting it on to people that essentially have no connection to it just because they can't get over their anger. IE screwed over everyone, even those that didn't even give them any money by tarnishing anything Intellivision related going forward. But that's no reason to snipe at the reputation of someone who had nothing to do with it. And? People are talking about the thing William did an interview on. How does that make him Tommy? You expect us to believe you don't know how to start a topic or how the search function works? Protest too much indeed. ...but it's also no reason to attack people for trying to do something IE failed miserably at. Any reason why you left the actual point of that post out?
  17. Who here in this thread do you are think are TT cultists? Who here do you think is doubling down or being defensive/aggressive in defending Tommy or IE in any way? The only person being defended here was William because he was laughably being labeled as the next Tallarico as if he here were trying to resurrect the Amico itself. If you want to have conversations about IE and all their ills, be my guest. It's not like everyone here hasn't been engaged with that discussion for years now. But when IE becomes the reason people decide to take cheap shots at real creators or publishers who've actually delivered in making games/products for our favorite system, then it's gone beyond valid discussion.
  18. Being tangentially connected does have some relevance but not so much that people need to go full witch hunt mode and start comparing everything to the entire Amico fiasco to the point of pretending it's happening all over again. Discussing BBG's track record is perfectly valid but that barely happened here before the torches and pitchforks came out. I have basically no faith in anything like this coming out until I see a product being displayed for sale, but I'm still not going to blow a gasket every time the slightest connection or reference to IE or the Amico comes up either. IE is still (barely) a thing and, as long as it holds certain IP rights, it's just something we are going to have to deal with anytime something new tries to reach the market. It's unfortunate but it's also no reason to attack people for trying to do something IE failed miserably at.
  19. That's going to require all the ATSD (Amico Traumatic Stress Disorder) sufferers here to accept that BBG is not IE and their possible console(s) is/are not the Amico to move the f&$k on already rather than see the Ghost of Tommy Tallarico everywhere they look. I'm not holding my breath though.

  21. Me too, only I need to get my owls in order so I can dish out the bread.
  22. I will not give Rev anymore of my money. I will not give Rev anymore of my money! I will not give Rev anymore of my money! I will not give Rev anymore of my money! Ah screw it!
  23. Um, no. Those are two entirely unrelated subjects. I get that you're wanting to be seen as "winning an argument" on the internet but you've missed the entire nuance of having a discussion and are just reaching at this point. It's great that you feel that way and all, but I'm the not the one sayin it wasn't an announcement. William doesn't believe it was and you do. I can see both sides of that, given the video. So you can have that conversation with him if you'd like but this need to present evidence in response to me like I'm the judge here is just bizarre. Truth is in the eye of the beholder. He believes since he made no offer, showed no prototype, requested no money and was looking for open source creators to potentially help with the project, that it's not really an announcement. You believe talking about it at all, regardless of the intent, is the strict definition of one. Again, I see the point for both, but "lying" in this context would imply some intent to deceive for gain, hence your comparison of Willy to Tommy. I just don't see that here, announcement or not. Even so, trying to bolster your position by comparing those two is preposterous. And if you are truly this incapable of understanding point of view in regard to human interactions, to the extent that some rando on a message board has to educate you on the topic, I sincerely hope your line of mental health work is limited to maintenance or custodial duties at such a facility. The need to visualize yourself delivering a knockout blow on the internet would merely be sad if it wasn't for the irony that Bugs Bunny actually wins that fight... You're 0-2 on the memes now. Maybe try something else?
  24. No, the implication is that people feel far too comfortable playing fast and loose with their words from behind a keyboard. IE: speaking in a way they never would in real life rather than using the proper amount of tact. I think if you ever met Willy you'd know he isn't going to threaten anyone.
