  1. William, Rev, Casey and myself have all pointed them out in this very thread. But if you need a direct example... ... this^ is what I have been talking about. Over and over again, the need to pretend William's interview is anything like the Amico fiasco. It falls somewhere between stubborn denial over getting called out for a ridiculous amount of hyperbole and tinfoil hat conspiracy nuttyness.
  2. If it's the 2 listings I'm thinking of, I believe the tape on each should come off decently well. That kind of clear tape with the strings running through it generally keeps from drying out too much over time. So if you start from the low end and SLOWLY peel up towards the box edge, you should be able to remove the bulk of it. Then it's just a dab of Goo Gone or Goof Off to remove the glue residue.
  3. It's not that people are shooing away or downplaying Amico talk. There are plenty of threads here on those exact topics. The issue here is folks projecting it on to people that essentially have no connection to it just because they can't get over their anger. IE screwed over everyone, even those that didn't even give them any money by tarnishing anything Intellivision related going forward. But that's no reason to snipe at the reputation of someone who had nothing to do with it. And? People are talking about the thing William did an interview on. How does that make him Tommy? You expect us to believe you don't know how to start a topic or how the search function works? Protest too much indeed. ...but it's also no reason to attack people for trying to do something IE failed miserably at. Any reason why you left the actual point of that post out?
  4. Who here in this thread do you are think are TT cultists? Who here do you think is doubling down or being defensive/aggressive in defending Tommy or IE in any way? The only person being defended here was William because he was laughably being labeled as the next Tallarico as if he here were trying to resurrect the Amico itself. If you want to have conversations about IE and all their ills, be my guest. It's not like everyone here hasn't been engaged with that discussion for years now. But when IE becomes the reason people decide to take cheap shots at real creators or publishers who've actually delivered in making games/products for our favorite system, then it's gone beyond valid discussion.
  5. Being tangentially connected does have some relevance but not so much that people need to go full witch hunt mode and start comparing everything to the entire Amico fiasco to the point of pretending it's happening all over again. Discussing BBG's track record is perfectly valid but that barely happened here before the torches and pitchforks came out. I have basically no faith in anything like this coming out until I see a product being displayed for sale, but I'm still not going to blow a gasket every time the slightest connection or reference to IE or the Amico comes up either. IE is still (barely) a thing and, as long as it holds certain IP rights, it's just something we are going to have to deal with anytime something new tries to reach the market. It's unfortunate but it's also no reason to attack people for trying to do something IE failed miserably at.
  6. That's going to require all the ATSD (Amico Traumatic Stress Disorder) sufferers here to accept that BBG is not IE and their possible console(s) is/are not the Amico to move the f&$k on already rather than see the Ghost of Tommy Tallarico everywhere they look. I'm not holding my breath though.

  8. Me too, only I need to get my owls in order so I can dish out the bread.
  9. I will not give Rev anymore of my money. I will not give Rev anymore of my money! I will not give Rev anymore of my money! I will not give Rev anymore of my money! Ah screw it!
  10. Um, no. Those are two entirely unrelated subjects. I get that you're wanting to be seen as "winning an argument" on the internet but you've missed the entire nuance of having a discussion and are just reaching at this point. It's great that you feel that way and all, but I'm the not the one sayin it wasn't an announcement. William doesn't believe it was and you do. I can see both sides of that, given the video. So you can have that conversation with him if you'd like but this need to present evidence in response to me like I'm the judge here is just bizarre. Truth is in the eye of the beholder. He believes since he made no offer, showed no prototype, requested no money and was looking for open source creators to potentially help with the project, that it's not really an announcement. You believe talking about it at all, regardless of the intent, is the strict definition of one. Again, I see the point for both, but "lying" in this context would imply some intent to deceive for gain, hence your comparison of Willy to Tommy. I just don't see that here, announcement or not. Even so, trying to bolster your position by comparing those two is preposterous. And if you are truly this incapable of understanding point of view in regard to human interactions, to the extent that some rando on a message board has to educate you on the topic, I sincerely hope your line of mental health work is limited to maintenance or custodial duties at such a facility. The need to visualize yourself delivering a knockout blow on the internet would merely be sad if it wasn't for the irony that Bugs Bunny actually wins that fight... You're 0-2 on the memes now. Maybe try something else?
  11. No, the implication is that people feel far too comfortable playing fast and loose with their words from behind a keyboard. IE: speaking in a way they never would in real life rather than using the proper amount of tact. I think if you ever met Willy you'd know he isn't going to threaten anyone.
  12. He didn't see it as an announcement of anything. Just talking about a project that was in the works. You saw it as an announcement of a product coming to market. You both have a point. But accusing him of lying rather than offering your take on the matter was the issue. And pretending that William doing an interview on a small YT channel, where he may have been misinformed, was flat wrong or maybe even clueless about what he was talking about, is somehow on the same level as Tallarico making tons of promises, taking money and not paying it back while dragging the Intellivision name all to hell and back is a bit much. The man said he messed up and would not be doing anything of the sort going forward. If he does, you can call him out for it but acting like he's the new Video Game Grinch is just blowing things way out of proportion. Oh, and if you're going to post a quote to call the intelligence of others into question... ...maybe check the source first?
  13. That's not a threat, simply a statement of fact. People play fast and loose when it comes to attaching names/fault/labels to others online because they have no fear of ever having to say it to their faces. Pointing this out is not some kind of "internet tough guy act". As far as William not being disrespected, I think MrBeefy stating, "IMO it was the person making the erroneous announcement who is more at fault. Denying that it was an announcement is some Tallarico level of honesty too" is a pretty clear cheap shot to throw at anyone. If Beefy wants to disagree about whether that interview constitutes an announcement, that's fine, but comparing Willy to Tallarico and the amount of shady activities he brought to bear in the Amico disaster was way out of line. William came here, posted his side of the events and apologized for his mistake. People can have a different take on things but blatantly calling him a liar was uncalled for.
  14. I get the feeling Zendocon now regrets the timing of his post
  15. Have you tried it in a system to see what game the board actually plays? I'm holding out for Tron Deadly Frogs
  16. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Actually, I respect your opinion even if I happen to disagree with it but it's much more fun to boo someone
  17. Should be pretty easy. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Excellent news! I wiffed on Fantasy and X-Ray so I'm happy to get another shot at both. Even better if I get to buy from the original publisher. Nothing against resellers, I just like to support the creators/publishers where I can.
  19. No Idea really. I doubt they would be an international variant just because they all seem to be made in the US. I don't even know if they would be late or even original run copies to be honest.
  20. I have no idea what you are talking about. 😏
  21. Let me know when someone finds another Lock 'N' Chase painted label! *hatman shoots evil eye at rev*
