  1. Seriously happy and relieved to hear you're doing well, Hank! Also, your son in law is an absolute artist. That's amazing!

I prefer autumn in the northwest myself.
  3. I believe that is called a "Golden" collection by the Brotherhood's standards. Still an amazing accomplishment. It's scary how damn accurate this statement is! Like I seriously felt it again as I was reading that, lol
  4. I've been to Reno a few times and there are some nice parts. Tahoe is ALL beautiful though!
  5. I have to say, these came out amazingly well! The color is much closer to red than the orange my phone makes it look like. It does that to the red stripe on my Deuce as well *shrug* I'm using this one to keep the new homebrews that I'm working playing through organized. I have an identical one for my classic favorites (not shown) so I don't have to keep getting them out of their boxes. Yes, I just recently got a copy of Yogi's Frustration. Took me forever to find one! The text and logo look great though I may paint the front of the lettering black eventually. So, if you were thinking about ordering one of these you can rest assured they are excellent! The overlay slots work nicely as well, I just never get those out of the box. I did test them out though, I just forgot to take any photos of that. Anyway, thank you Caleb! I will likely order some more soon 👍
  6. I like to approach Portland via jumbo jet but you do you man! Seriously though, if I lived in the Reno/Tahoe area I'd probably not want to leave all that often either.
  7. 2023 is included in the "these years" subset. Just sayin' 😉
  8. I think the issue here is the seller believes they have a rare game that is complete in box. In reality, they do not. You have to ask yourself as a seller, "Who wants to buy my item?" In the case of this copy of Mountain Madness, that would be the people who either play or collect Intellivision games (most of us do both). People wanting to simply play the game on original hardware will only value the cart. They don't want to pay a premium for a box and manual they don't need especially when those are so damaged that they can't flip them to cover for the cart they actually wanted**. Collectors will want a CIB copy because this helps complete their collection. The issue they likely see with this listing is that they will still need to replace the box with a better condition version to satisfy their collection. In effect, it makes this "CIB" listing no more attractive than a plain cart offering to them. Since these carts go for between $80-120 on their own, the market is basically nonexistant for this particular offering at nearly $200 as neither target group will value it anywhere near the full CIB price one would expect an undamaged boxed copy to bring. I think your offer of $110 was actually pretty solid considering the condition of the box and manual, which is also in rough shape. I'm not saying neither has any value. The manual can likely be flattened out again and the box does make for a nice placeholder. But neither would fetch anywhere close to full value in their current state. A nice reproduction box would be just as good a placeholder as this original damaged one at less than $25. Either way, you'd still need to source a replacement to consider that item checked off in your collection. **Ever see a rare original empty game box for sale on eBay and wonder how it survived the ages while the cart didn't? What usually happenes is the seller only wanted the cart and knows they can flip the box and manual for most of if not even more than the cost of just the cart. Makes building a cart only 125 even cheaper than you think.
  9. Intresting variant of the Armor Battle cart here. No line, Hong Kong label with the black tank logo: eBay Item: 314564825513 ENHANCE!!! E

  11. I actually don't collect Sears items but thought I'd help get you flooded with requests because I'm just a great all-around dude
  12. Yeah the cart alone would probably fetch that much these days. I wouldn't go higher than $115.
  13. I was wondering if it were that or it was stored with other games front to back and some moisture caused it to stick and tear away when finally separated. Since there are no other signs of water damage on that box, I'm thinking you are correct. If you want to try for it, I'll be happy to attempt to fix that box for you at no charge. I wouldn't pay anywhere near the $195 they're asking for it though. Unless you can get them to come down about $60-70, I'd pass and wait for an undamaged copy to come along.
  14. I am a sick man for wanting to buy this simply because I have some theories as to how I can restore the box art without making any cuts... eBay Item: 325637177714 Thankfully the price is prohibitive enough keep my nerd sensibilities at bay for now.
  15. I feel ya. That's a ridiculous price for a damaged label cart!
  16. Amazing work as always, Steve! Now where's mthompson to recreate all of the manuals into Sears style?
  17. That's pretty cool. I have a boatload of spare Donkey Kong carts if you need a further supply at the ready. I know Rev already sent you a batch.
  18. Ok well... Hatman 3:16 says I just whipped your a$$ (at Body Slam)!
  19. "Tudor-Pro" was my half-joking attempt to make a shorter name for the Super Pro systems with TudorVision boards in them. Use the term as you see fit 👍
  20. It's not so much a question of original vs. fake but more that adding a sticker does not constitute an actual change to the original packaging. At least no more so than the joking "Toys R' Us" price tags example vtadave posted. Ultimately, everyone is going to define what counts as a variation for themselves and their own collections so there is no wrong answer. For my part, it takes some kind of permanent change to constitute a real difference before I can call it a true variant. Random sticker application doesn't meet that standard to me.
  21. I am in that category. You see 5 or so CIB copies of Spiker hit eBay in any given year. LF II complete? Maybe 2 at best.
  22. This is why I would never consider those to be an actual variant. Anyone can reprodcue those stickers and there would be no way to tell. And since they could be/were hand placed anywhere on the boxes, it makes it impossible to standardize them as a single variation.
