  1. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 165731821730 Oooooooooooooo!
  2. The IMMORTAL John Hancock playing the Operation Cloudfire demo at PRGE...
  3. I'm happy to purchase the games in any form that I can play in traditional mode, meaning: real cart on actual hardware. Boxes, manuals and overlays will happen one way or another anyway.
  4. I don't really see it as an argument as much as a discussion. It is tough to nail down an exact number after all... Are Blix (original) and Blix & Chocolate Mine counted separate? Is Lock 'N' Chase 8K even a homebrew? How do we categorize the Blue Sky Rangers releases? Do Blowout, Hard Hat, Space Cadet and the combined Party Line count as 3 titles and a combo - 4 titles - 1 title with variations? How does everyone view the LTO Flash and FW Diagnostics carts? Or the Intellicart for that matter? Does everything have to be CIB to count? What about ROMs? Is Gyruss just a variation of Deep Zone? Man, that one alone will spark a year-long debate! There's too much grey area to even approach a consensus so I like the view that anything that comes out between Sept-Dec 2022 as part of the "125 Era" and they all get some credit in reaching the milestone. Share the love between all the publishers/programmers that helped get us there.
  5. It's listed under 2019 right after Blix and Chocolate Mine. It's easy to miss a title in such a long wall of text though.
  6. I find it fascinating to be witnessing the time where homebrew scene reaches and surpasses the original production run of 125 games. While there's no realistic way to determine the exact title to be #125, I think all of the games coming out in the autumn/winter of 2022 fall into the "125 Era" for INTV homebrews. It's a special time to be around the community. Although part of me thinks we would've hit this point at least a year ago had covid not been a thing. Eh... better late than never!
  7. Infiltrator - Elektronite Mancala - CollectorVision Norseman - Côté Gamers The Pandora Incident - Elektronite Penguin Land - Intellivision Collector Peter The Pea - 2600 Connection/Intellivision Revolution Poker Risque - Intellivision Collector Robot Army - Elektronite The Sorrow of Gadhlan’ Thur - Kai Magazine 3 of the 9 that I have on order have arrived before the Portland trip. That puts me at 99 homebrew games. So if none of the 6 remaining gets through the mail before I leave on the 13th then I will be getting #100 live in person at PRGE. It's unreal to me that I would be right at 99 just before the first Expo in 2 years!
  8. I missed most of the early days of the homebrew scene. My first HB game was Piggy Bank. But I find it's better not to have to worry about getting and affording games you'll likely never see again, at least for a reasonable amount, and just focus on what's coming out now. Lots of amazing stuff is being made for the system that I never dreamt was possible. If you happen to find a deal on one of the classics you missed then take your shot but there's no need to get hung up on it. At least you'll always have something to collect.
  9. I am in the exact same boat when it comes to Smurf. By the time I'd even heard it existed it was well into triple digits to get a copy. I figure I'll just wait till someone re-releases it in a cheaper form. And if that never happens, eh... some other homebrew will come along for me to enjoy. Or likely 20 more, lol
  10. List is missing: A Tale of Dragons and Swords - Elektronite - I think 2018?
  11. That's good because I've been working on a new game called Mayo Blaster! You play as a general trying to protect the northern US from intruding hosers from the Great White North. They attack by throwing poutine and maple syrup over the border and you have to repel them by firing mayonnaise covered Cheese-Its at them. If you win you get to keep the Stanley Cup from them for several generations. It's mostly based around Sharp Shot.
  12. That trade got me to 124 original games. About a month later I picked up Learning Fun I to reach the mythical *125* 🦄✨
  13. Same here. I am likely bringing the same hard shell travel suitcase I used in 2018 when I hauled 50 CIB variants out to Portland to trade with BSRSteve for Learning Fun II. Good times
  14. So I was organizing my INTV game cabinet as it has finally hit the overflow stage and realized that I have 96 homebrew titles. Since I have 9 more already on order and paid for, that means sometime this month I will receive my 100th homebrew but I have have no idea which game will actually be the magic #100. It could even be that not enough of them arrive before PRGE and #100 happens in Portland. So who will it be..... Infiltrator - Elektronite Mancala - CollectorVision Norseman - Côté Gamers The Pandora Incident - Elektronite Penguin Land - Intellivision Collector Peter The Pea - 2600 Connection/Intellivision Revolution Poker Risque - Intellivision Collector Robot Army - Elektronite The Sorrow of Gadhlan’ Thur - Kai Magazine ...or one of the new titles coming out at PRGE?!? I kinda hope it happens live at PRGE but I'm pretty sure at least 4 of those games will arrive before then. We'll see.
  15. bhall408 and the Argon group will be just one row over from us at 106. They have some INTY toys to show off this year too. tlinder and Sibling Rivalry will be a couple rows over from us the other direction at 604. I may have to challenge them to some TA Biplanes.
  16. Very precisely placed double sided tape that is then trimmed exactly to the edges. Basically returns the label back to being a fresh sticker again. It also avoids any issues with glue either needing to dry or destroying the label as it can be removed (carefully!) and replaced much easier. I wish I would have taken pics of what it looked liked before the repair but it was in a very similar condition to that Burgertime example posted above, minus the clear tape over the top. The label was just barely being held on by a thin strip of original glue that was quickly turning to powder. Unlike most of the other examples I've seen, the label was aligned to the top of the cart with the excess sticker going over the bottom, so I kept it that way to remain original. Seems like these usually align to the bottom of the cart face and overflow to the top but this Buzz Bombers one was different.
