    I've been on an open world kick recently. Played some Assassin's Creed 2, but the game froze for the second time at the exact same place, so I'm guessing the disc is bad (it had a couple of bad scratches and I was needing catharsis after wasting 8 hours of gametime twice, so I carved my name in the data layer and binned it). So went back to Red Dead Redemption and ordered a copy of AC: Brotherhood from amazon. I didn't even own a PS3 a year ago so all this is new and exciting to me

    Great news! Original Wii games of slightly obscurer titles are already pretty scarce, so getting a wonderful game out to a broader audience is a great idea, especially with one with such a beautiful and timeless art style.

    Nintendo is dying, the only question is whethe the console market itself will die before the company does. Ah well, for everything there's a season.

    Oh boy, this train wreck... One thing I found odd about the gamester81 interview was the claim that prototypes for consumer electronics require lots of expensive compliance testing. I'd've thought that only happens later, once the specs are actually locked down and the project leaves the lab stage.
