  1. Sure enough. I think books of this ilk are far better in print than digital, myself. I almost exclusively read on a Kindle, but I like the physicality of video game books.
  2. Hadn't noticed that, but yes, the picture is a way different color than the picture on the box in the picture.
  3. There are absolutely no reviews of this thing that I can find, and no one other than Emio seems to sell them. I'm really wondering if this is a real product. For the price, it might be worth the risk.
  4. From the Look Inside on Amazon, there don't seem to be any pictures in the digital version, which seem really necessary for a book on video games.
  5. It's down to $11.54 on Amazon now. Purchased to go with my Atari Flashback 8 Gold: Activision Edition. Are all of the games in the book on the Activision Edition of the console? I realize the other way around isn't accurate, and that the Activision games aren't represented.
  6. 10 minutes around Keatah, and we'll all be blitzed.
  7. I added these to my GOG account today. I'd never heard of AD 2044, and that article makes it sound terrible. The manuals on GOG are also only available in Polish.
  8. That link just takes me to the main page. Unfortunately, I can't find the deal you reference.
  9. Bullshit. There is no reason to believe that the cashier would pocket the money. Not everyone is as dishonest as you are.
  10. Thanks, Mitkraft. I was reading all of the responses the last couple of days, and I couldn't believe the people who were justifying theft. Let's be clear - this is theft. The poster got home with an item that he did not pay for, and he kept it with no intention of going back and paying for it. What's the difference between what he did and flat out shoplifting? If he came in here bragging about stealing an item from a retail store, would he be defended to this level? Even worse, he stole from a non-profit. One justification from another member is that it's OK because the CEO makes a lot of money? Another justification is that Goodwill.com charges high shipping costs? How does any of that make it ok to steal from them? I seriously thought that he'd be piled on until he was ashamed enough to go back and do what's right. Instead, I'm a bit sickened by the defenders of him. Stealing isn't OK. Stealing from a non-profit is reprehensible.
  11. Congratulations on scamming a charity out of $12. Seriously, go back and pay for that shit. How does someone like that even sleep at night?
  12. The Quest for... What's sad is that no one in my life would possibly get this. Old man video game humour.
  13. A GameTrade store near me had a boxed NES Classic for sale. I couldn't tell if it was opened or not. $249.99.
  14. I can't get that image out of my head. Thanks for sharing your stories, guys!
  15. I recently purchased a box copy of a game, and one of the seams has come unglued. I assume the glue just dried up over time. What kind of glue would be best for gluing it back together? Can I just use a few dabs of super glue? I don't want to bleed through the box, obviously. It's an N64 game, if it matters.
  16. Definitely looking forward to watching this one when I can set aside some time. I'll have to find the Vita review mentioned above, too.
  17. Have you considered a pound or a rescue group? There are so many dogs out there that need homes. I hate breeders.
  18. Sorry she's gone, but be happy for all the time you had together.
  19. Mario Kart Double Dash - GameCube Picross 3D - DS Fran Bow - PC
  20. If you live in the Dallas area, then you have to try Free Play in Richardson or Arlington. Great atmosphere, awesome selection of very well maintained games. Highly recommended.
