I believe that you are mostly an Intellivision guy so I don't know how closely you follow Atari 2600 items. Basic Math is a very hard title to find boxed. Back in the day everyone wanted Asterois, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, ect. but how many kid do you think wanted Basic Math. I am sure it wasn't really high on Christmas or birthday lists and that is why it is so hard to find boxed copies of this game today. As is the case with almost all of my items I will consider offers for Basic Math. do an experiment with this auction. start it out at 1.00 for a 7 day with no reserve and let it sell for what the market dictates. are you man enough? .....when did i become a mostly intellivision man? i have 20 2600 systems and 1,500 games. The last one that I saw sold auction style ended between $55-$60 plus shipping. I don't have a link to that one but it was in the last couple of month so someone might still have it. If someone wants it at that price feel free to make an offer. I am not interested in starting my items at $1. I am not interested in gambling. It could go high but it could go low. I would rather sell it at a price that I am happy with and that my buyer is happy with. It is interesting that you picked Basic Math out of the 400+ listings that I have. It is the most watched fixed priced item that I have listed and that was before you pointed out the listing. Most of your post that I have seen have been about the Intellivision. Maybe that has just been your focus of late.

Activision patches for auction!
holygrailvideogames.com replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
Just a word to the wise. That ACTIVISION TRAIL DRIVE STAMPEDE PATCH INTELLIVISION is a very good BIN at 149.00 I have sold that patch in the past at 300.00. Its for sure the hardest Intv patch to find and I am sure there are more than a few activision patch collectors in need of it This is the first Trail Drive patch that I have had for the Intellivision. The Intellivision patches that I have sold in the past have always sold for more than any of the Atari patches that I have sold. If I had this two years ago I am sure that it would have sold for $200-$300. In this economy I don't expect as much. It doesn't help that eBay has buried so many of the listings. Just search Atari and 26000+ items shows up. -
Thanks for looking! Sorry Al but I don't know how to do a BBcode tag for these. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=10&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&icep_uq=activision+patch&icep_sellerId=stlouisrams2007&icep_ex_kw=&icep_sortBy=12&icep_catId=&icep_minPrice=&icep_maxPrice=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg

Atari 7800 Jr. Pac-Man $28 Space Duel $28 Space Invaders $28 Atari 5200 Rent Wars $40 Flip and Flop $40 U.S. shipping only. Shipping for one of the 7800 games would be $4. The 5200 games are boxed so shipping on those would be $6. Maximum shipping charge is $6 no matter how many that you buy. Spend $100 or more and shipping is free. Please send me a private message if interested.

I had a pretty hard time finding Kung Fu Master years ago when I was working on my 7800 collection. It was one of the last ones that I needed. I did get it but it cost me a lot.

eBay soon is getting into the insurance business. They will be offering insurance that is cheaper that USPS. http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/shippinginsurancelabels.html There also is insurance from shipsaver. http://applications.ebay.com/selling?ViewEAppDetails&appType=1&appId=insurance.inkfrog.com I haven't used either service but I would be interested in insurance cheaper than USPS offers. I typically eat the cost of insurance for the more expenseive items that I sell. I have shipped thousands of items and I am only aware of one package that has gone missing but I still feel better having insurance for an expensive item.
-
$6 for Priority Mail is very reasonable to me. Given the lightweight nature of the item, I could pack it very securely and ship it with DC for just slightly under $6 (or more if insurance is added). Is this auction yours?

$1,026.51 for a Vectrex homebrew. That is incredible.

Atlantis II with paperwork back up!
holygrailvideogames.com replied to homerwannabee's topic in Auction Central
Well it looks like it didn't sell. I guess the Imagic Kiosk is officially more valuable than this game with the one doc. If you drop the price down about $500 to $1,500 I think you will probably be able to sell it. I just don't get it, Pepsi Invaders loose sold for about $2,200 a few months ago. If that game can get $2,000 loose you would of thought this would of hit $2,000 as well. Freak an Atlantis II with a box, and a t-shirt sold for close to $7,000. And the shirt was faded, and the box is just a regular Atlantis box with the sticker. The economy is really bad right now. I am not surprised that this did not sell. A lot of collectors who are able to pay a hefty price for Atlantis II already have it. I would price Atlantis II (cart only) as being worth $750-$1000. I know it has sold for more than that at times in the past but to me that is a realistic value. I am not sure as to the value of the paperwork. Boxed you would get a lot more (the Atlantis II) sticker is worth a lot. -

Wanted Atari Superman Sears Picture Label
holygrailvideogames.com replied to trustey1's topic in Wanted
I know of three. I know of two on eBay and one that someone else had. Maybe there are more. I always thought that CPUWIZ made these and put these out in the marketplace to frustrate Atari collectors who couldn't find them. -
Record Price for Deadly Duck
holygrailvideogames.com replied to hhwolfman's topic in Auction Central
I didn't see that Frogs 'n Flies until after the auction ended. I contacted the seller to make sure that the buyer had paid (no I wasn't looking to outbid the winner but sometimes buyers don't pay). Had I asked HHW who won the auction I wouldn't have contacted the seller. I did send a message to another AtariAge member to see if he had won it since he has been looking for it forever. -
eBay, shipping exclusions by country/individual
holygrailvideogames.com replied to CincYnoTi's topic in Auction Central
Here is the link. http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderPermitLogin I too allow exemptions for those with a good reputation. -
$115 is a steal. If I didn't already have one I would buy this.
-
$45 is a steal. Al has to pay extra to get Coleco carts and it comes with a box.
